I just got into discus not long ago. I'm on my 5th spawn. 1st 3 times they ate the eggs, 4th almost free swimmers, and this 5th time I have wrigglers right now. If all goes wel I should have freeswimmers Thursday.
who here breeds fish besides live bearers!?!

I've gotten free swimmers from Discus before they ended up getting eating off. Also, had some luck getting Angels by removing the cone w/ eggs to another tank and raising them on Brine. I transfered the dime size fry to my large community tank too soon and they were promptly eaten.
yellow labs, but it's completely unintentional. They seem to breed like, well, like yellow labs.
tankmates, (Red Empress pair, Zebra obliqueden pair, blue ahli, couple of other) get to the fry after they get spit out, but usually about 3 to 5 make it to the rocks and survive. they make good trade-ins at the LFS.
