You can use carbon to remove the yellow tinge in SW tanks. Have you been keeping up with your water changes? Do you have a skimmer?

I know this is a somewhat rediculous question, but is it possible someone urinated in your tank? This happened to me several years ago. A friend who had too much to drink crashed on my sofa, and the next morning the tank (a 20 gallon FW) had a funny smell and a yellow coloration. You can imagine what happened to the fish.

I had the same problem too. Like Boogie said, just skim enough and through in a bag of carbon into a HOB filter. The yellow was gone in a couple of weeks.
