African Butterfly Fish

Gets to be 5"

Diet: carnivore; loves tetras and guppies

Minimum tank size: I'd say a 30g would be fine

Temperament: semi-agressive

Any other questions besides that? They are a truly beautiful fish, too bad I want a lot of small guys for my tank, and I wasnt thinking feeders...

A 20 gallon tank would be more than fine for one (I've kept them twice over the years). They really do stick up top most of the time (they'll dive down lower if they see fry swimming around), love crickets, floating foods, flies, etc (many will eat pellets). You also need a totally covered top, or they'll slip out through a hole not much bigger than the diameter of their body.

High personality, we pet kind of fish.
