Mafia #6.....The Play

holy crap, 12 hours in and almost 200 posts already. I thought, yeah I could check but I'll just do it in the morning. Ok, did a lot of catching up, but here are my thoughts so far.

DP with the pming thing...very suspicious, especially since he then goes into hiding...waiting for directions from the Don to figure out how to dig himself out?

Miken - also supicious, again newbie/mafia split, I could still go either way, but leaning mafia...but at this point who knows.

Ice and Ogre, just because they're slick players. Not saying I suspect them, but they would be ones to watch, I've had trouble getting a consistent read on them in the past. If either or both are mafia, we're in trouble. Again, no accusations, just a general FYI for the newer people,

Although some of Ice's comments make me nervous...don't vote for me vote for someone else until you investigate me...Anyone in the game could use that as justification, and there isn't enough time to investigate EVERYONE. Especially considering the new rule....the Don will show as innocent for the first 6 nights. Is he thinking if we investigate him early he'll be granted immunity and have free play over townies? I don't like that idea...

JL as usual coming out of left field with a vote, but that just seems to be his style. That will have to wait for more info I think.

Thats it for now, I'll probably vote before I leave work today. Night falls Tues morning EST?

I just want to say that, yes I am being defensive. I do not wish to lose my life. I want to rid the town of these evil Mafia folks and make friends and have fun with my fellow innocents. I am quite new here to this town and to have death threats made towards me so quickly has me quite afraid. I have no idea who I can trust, if anyone, so yes, I may seem as if I am out on my own, but as far as I can see, that seems to be how everyone in this town is, except of course the Mafia.
 
Hmmmmmm....same people posting...nothing much new added.

I don't have a better suspect than Mike as yet I'm afraid but I'm highly uncomfortable with this vote at this point, as it seems that people are happy to go with the flow on it, and that to me is indicative of the mafia being happy with it (I'm not saying that the people who voted mike are mafia, just that if he was mafia I'd expect an effort by now to kick against the lynch).

I therefore Remove my vote to lynch Mike

I'll read the whole thread before voting in a few hours, probably will let that vote stick.

Good thinking sploke, only i thinks it's 3 nights. if it is 6 night i suggest we change it to 3 cause 6 would mean more then half the game. thats to strong

Well only ppl that stand out for me now

1) Mike. This is like 10 times worse then Jo and CL...like an uber noob mistake
2) DP. Either mike is setting him up or there is something here. Dp would have just been better admitting to the PM.
 
Day one is random.

We will get to see how people act and what they do.

Someone is going to get lynched. We are hoping to get lucky and lynch a mafia member. It will be luck.

I am concerned with the attack that was given back at me for my vote. I gave my reason for my vote. In no way did I call Swayde mafia or even think there was any reason to think she was mafia. I voted her because she was the first role player. Seems like a good "random" vote to me, maybe it is "left field".

While I agree with you Coler, I have to say that it could be construed that that is in fact what you are attempting to do by removing your post. No offense but I can't accept your statement of Innocence without some solid proof such as a botched hit. I'm not saying you are Mafia either, once again I need more evidence for this claim. You are a solid 5 on my list right now.
 
lol ZS...who isn't a 5 right now? Aside from some possibly silly newbies, I think everyone's about there for me right now.
 
Mike, DP, Swayde, Ice are not 5's but I do not think we should lynch Ice on night 1. We don't know for certain Ice is anything but we do know Ice has good game experience and if he is Innocent then we need him on our side.

only problem is, with the noob mistake... me and CL, i was an innocent and he wasnt... so 50/50 chance?
 
i vote to lynch swayde

may change as the day goes on, especially if we dont hear from mike and DP again.

I think we need to keep the pressure on both of them, and keep the lynch counts high... watch them squirm and hopefully make more mistakes, if we all back off of mike.... he doesnt even have to post to defend himself anymore, and the same goes with DP. So i think we at least need to draw a few more posts out of them.
