I'm sticking with my vote. I just feel Mike may be trying to grab at any thing possible to save himself and therefore is is voting for JM.

Even if you are a a innocent Mike (which I don't think you are), you tend to rub people the wrong way, thats part of the reason I'm sticking with my vote. Try to stop that if your a townie.

Just finished reading through all the posts, and the main thing that I noticed is MikenDanielle's really odd gameplay.

1. Got to agree w/ Coler....the guy's pointing fingers everywhere saying that either he 'guarantees' or is '100% sure' that someone is mafia. If he really is a townie, recklessly casting suspicion on everyone else does little good for the town.

2. This business of 'even if I am mafia, keep me in the game until you need to kill a mafia for sure' doesn't make any sense to me AT ALL.

Not voting for the guy yet, but come end of the day if there's no better candidates this guy will get my vote

I vote to lynch Swayde. A quick OMGUS (Oh my God, you suck for voting for me) vote always gets my attention. Not a real pro-town move.

Fair enough. I am a new face in town, so I do understand the suspicion. I had hoped that I would be able to get to know people better before they think the worst of me, but I know this town has been through a lot and is very wary of strangers. If you are infact just an innocent townsfolk then yes, I can understand the wariness. I am actually more afraid that you are infact a brother in evildoing with johnlarson66 and that is why you are so eager to defend him and off someone you know is clearly opposed to your way of life.

Not defending anyone....Actually don't really care who voted for you. You're the one who carelessly tossed the vote back. Says to me that you're more interested in doing your own thing, than actually helping the town find mafia.

Post 210 : Mike is mafia...or innocent...either way Mad wants him gone...now why is Mad defending Judge so strongly on the basis that she might be innocent albeit inactive, where there is just as strong if not stronger reason for believing Mike is just over-excited Newbie innocent. Here's the thing, pal. Mafia are LIARS, and you lied. Saying that you wanted to see people's reaction to your lie, doesn't change the fact that you lied. The majority of people in this game are innocents, and your willingness to cast suspicion on another player who had barely spoken at that point is HIGHLY suspect. The more you talk, the more mafia you seem to me.

If you're lynched and end up innocent, you're an innocent the town can live without....

Here's the funny thing about DP....in round 4 after he took over moderating for KOTD, players had to keep telling DP to stay out of the game (ie, moderators weren't supposed to participate in the game). Now he's got the chance to play again, and he is pretty quiet this time around.

Kind of funny, but did anybody notice how MikenDanielle and Swayde (who were the top 2 vote getters at the time) JUMPED at the chance to vote for JudgeMax?

Post 311 : more defence of JM - remember that Mad has pretty much gone on at length about Mike being Mafia, but his vote is on Swayde...this lays the ground for a last minute/late swap. Anyway meanwhile...don't vote for JM people that would be loony :

This whole let's vote for JudgeMax to get her to post seems pretty goofy to me. Not saying if she's mafia or not, but chances are that she's innocent. I would assume that she would post if able. The fact that she has some votes against her is unlikely to make her post any sooner. IMO voting to lynch Judge at this point only distracts from the task at hand.

Post 316 - remember Mad's vote still on Swayde.

Just for clarification... try to stop what? Try to stop you voting for me? Or rubbing people the wrong way? I am not going to stop you from voting for me, that is your decsion, if something I or someone else posts, changes your mind, great, if not, o'well. Secondly I guess I can try to stop rubbing people the wrong way... but I assure you my rubbing has good intentions.... dont be dirty minded, I mean I am intended to find heartless mafia scum.

Ok, after reading through the posts, here's what I have...

jpappy 789- No real read, innocent vibe so far.
Dangerdoll- No real read, innocent vibe so far.
IceH2O- Suspicious of him again.
bkw1982- No real read, but LMAO about CL & Jo hailing their king.
OgreMkV- No read.
judgemax- Too quiet. Very suspicious.
MikenDanielle- Maybe newbie mistake, maybe mafia. Not real sure though. Definitely working on his own grave though. If you are as hinted, I would definitely simma down.
Dwarf Puffers- Initial claim of innocence, followed by silence and also trying to defend the quiet JM.
sploke- No real read, innocent vibe so far.
johnlarson66- No real read, innocent vibe so far. Though I do not like the completely random and probably wasted vote. Since the same thing was done last game, he had to know it wouldn’t raise much suspicion and would be able to “hide” behind it if indeed mafia.
Zsandmann- Shady signs. If JM is voted out, I will strongly suspect him after the soft defense based on 3 possibly being out if JM doesn’t vote. If JM doesn’t POST for 2 day / Night cycles then she is out according to the rules. Rb- can you clarify the rule?
plantling- No real read.
KingOfTheDeep- No real read.
joander123- No real read. Very different from last game.
Cory Lover- No real read.
Swayde- No real read, innocent vibe so far. I don’t mind the role play (I actually enjoy it), but please follow that up with your thoughts and suspicions. I love lemonade, but it doesn’t help the town.
Coler- Playing similar to last game. Suspicious until otherwise proven just because of his strong play. (I like his list quite a bit though).
charlie_stubbs- No real read.
mee-mee- No real read.

Madcrawdad- Suspicious in throwing Swayde & Mike out there as a possible train for everyone to jump on. The defense of JM seems extra suspicious.

The "Snitch". One of the Mafia is a Snitch. Since their cousin Vinny was ousted by the Mafia last year, they feel some revenge is needed. I think it would be better as a note that is only found upon their death. They PM you nightly with this list which contains the 4 names of which 1 is mafia. Then the townies have a 1 in 4 chance at getting a mafia player. If its far enough into the game the list may even be able to name innocent power roles forcing them out to protect themselves.

I think putting the name into the night time story line is a big mistake as the Snitch could switch names around and end up naming multiple mafia members according to how the suspicion is on those people.

This was before I received a PM to what I was. If I was mafia why would I post the question? I'm not a newb player lol. I'd have just PMed Rb.

I posted it for no reason except to make the game more interesting. In post 17 I explained that I understood after reading it a couple of times how he meant to do it. The 1st post I thought for some reason I read that he was going to use the mafia players names in the night story only.

To add to this, he has been online and has made 11 posts since we last heard from him, some lastnight some this morning... if he is posting elsewhere,. why not here?

I actually agree with this statement. I always look to see if a player that hasn't posted here has been posting somewhere else. If they have on other threads and not here they are afraid to slip up or to act without the Dons guidance.

Hmmmm..swiss cheese is full of holes. Who likes holes? Mafia lol.. Just having fun with this staement,I'm still trying to catch up on the goings on and putting my replies in as I go.

Seeing as last time I checked this thread it wasn't even 2 pages, and now it's almost 33, I skipped from 6 to this.

Really though, the only one who emailed me about the game was Rbishop. That's how I knew it had started . Rb, are people allowed to lie like that? With the whole "omg DP PMed me" thing? I mean SURE, goof around roll-playing and basically point you're finger at them, but to lie about forbidden (in the game) private messages? That's a little too much, IMO.

Page skipping? Not reading the whole thread. A player did that in one of our other games too,did he turn out to be mafia? IMO laziness like that usually indicates mafia because they don't need to read all the posts, they know who is innocent.

How are my explainations full of holes, and if they are ask me to fill them in, I have nothing to hide. The reason I felt the need to trap someone was because.... I thought that was the purpose of the game.. find the mafia. Maybe I read a different set of rules, I am not sure. If you are really questioning me, I will make you what I see is a fair offer. I am so sure that DP is mafia right now, that if you vote to lynch them, and they turn out not to be mafia I will willing campaign for people the vote for me the following the day and ever vote for myself, or even better fall into a mysterious death.

You won't need to campaign its pretty much going to be a given.

The fact that he can be "100% sure" of ANYONE at this point in the game leds me to believe

a) he's got some JM-like psychic powers
b) he just likes jumping to conclusions
c) he's mafia and has already established a target innocent (or fellow mafia, in the case of teamwork) to run a lynch train on.

I'm going toward c.

C is a possibility, they could be hoping for a botched lynching this time

DP's disappearing act reaks of mafia

Ice's take charge of the townspeople reaks of having something to prove. Why would someone step out the first day and try to take lead if they did not have something to prove... ie there not a mafia... which leads me to beleive he is a mafia.

Its the way I play, read any of the mafia threads.

I am the god of all players, you will all see when this is over and done with and I am proven innocent and DP and Ice are proven mafia. Once that happens you will be digging me up and taking me to the witch doctor to have me reincarnated. PS... I will probably be on for the enxt 30 mins or so, homework got sidetracked when I noticed my aquaclear 110 wasnt working GRRRRRR!!!

Then we got into the JM thing. The rule states: If you aren't active for two day/night cycles, with at least posting once, then you will pass away from some strange (probably embarrassing) illness that I will give you.

We don't need to take JM out this round, she won't be booted till the 3rd day but if she continues not to post it is a great idea to lynch her Day 2 instead of just losing her plus losing an innocent to a mafia hit and possible lynching.

Now I'll post this and then catch up what I might have missed while catching up to this point.
