Mafia #6.....The Play

Just thought I would check in b/4 bed. This is what we have so far..

Before I leave for work, and remember I have no access so I won't be on till late afternoon at the earliest, I want to throw another little something out there.

The only way to show I'm innocent is to investigate me then somehow let the townies know I am innocent without giving away your power roles.

I ask that all townies remove their vote from me so only mafia votes are there. Then tomorrow if I'm mafia you can pile on and lynch me, but I'm not so its moot.

Dirty Harry said it best. Townies do you feel lucky?
If so then lynch me without investigation so we can read the oh mys and the darn we did it again.

A better strategy is to investigate top players before taking them out IMO.

Before anyone asks I tried to take out Coler because I was mafia and knew he was a Top player. He wasn't going to help me any.

I vote to lynch Swayde. A quick OMGUS (Oh my God, you suck for voting for me) vote always gets my attention. Not a real pro-town move.

Fair enough. I am a new face in town, so I do understand the suspicion. I had hoped that I would be able to get to know people better before they think the worst of me, but I know this town has been through a lot and is very wary of strangers. I do not wish to lose my life. I hope that you would change your mind and see that I really am just an innocent bystander here, trying to make myself at home.

If you are infact just an innocent townsfolk then yes, I can understand the wariness. I am actually more afraid that you are infact a brother in evildoing with johnlarson66 and that is why you are so eager to defend him and off someone you know is clearly opposed to your way of life.
 
Well it doesn't look like a whole lot has happened last night. I'm off to work and will probably be back late since I have until tomorrow to make an ultimate decision.

Some things have started to pick at my radar and we'll have to see what exactly develops..

CL & Charlie give me pause with their willingness to jump so quickly without posting their reasoning. Coler was a proven innocent last game and seems to be playing innocent this game, but the first day should be filled with suspicion and not following. IMO, the following would be another way for mafia to lay low.

Hooked, at the risk of sounding defensive i thought my reasoning for voting mike was pretty self-explanatory considering his posts thusfar. My first game i was innocent but nervous to post in case i looked guilty, this guy basically comes in and yells out "hey im innoncent", then points fingers all over the place, even after he has been warned not to do so. He is the first suspect i've had in two games that i didnt rely on more experienced townies to ferret out for me.
As far as ice goes, i agree he is the more dangerous of the two and have taken a closer look at his posts. to be honest he raised my suspicions early on but i'm just not sure. my vote is subject to change if a case can be made for a stronger candidate, but i feel mike is a good choice for right now. my top three suspects at this point are:
1: mikendanielle- reasons as above
2: dwarf puffer- the whole "pmgate thing"
3: Ice- because of the oddness of his posts and his "banter" with mike

Not defending anyone....Actually don't really care who voted for you. You're the one who carelessly tossed the vote back. Says to me that you're more interested in doing your own thing, than actually helping the town find mafia.
 
Wow this is a very interesting Day 1. There are a LOT of red flags waving around.

Mike/DP/Ice: I must figure out the PM controversy to know what is going on in this triangle.

jl/Swayde/Mad: Another Trifecta of interest. jl is playing his standard Day 1 vote, Swayde is being very defensive of one vte against him which is pointless as there will likely be many people with one vote by the end of Day 1. Mad is calling out Swayde and got a similar response to what jl got.
