Dangerdoll was NOT the Don...

Guys, I must admit that I was a little too quick to jump to the conclusion that DD was Don. Something that Ogre, Joander and Plantling had said earlier (although Plantling was much earlier) has been nagging at me today.

I've included this quote from rb showing the lynches on Night 2. On night 2 we lost 4 innocents. 1 lynched (MikenDanielle), 1 hit by mafia (Hooked Newbie), and 2 quit (JudgeMax and Clown Lover). One of these players was the Don... Never pegged Mike for Don by the very loud game he played. It's unlikely that HN was the Don as why would the mafia give up the investigations? JudgeMax or Clown Lover was probably the Don, IMO...I'm thinking likely Judge, but can't be positive.

If you look at rb's description of Don on at the Night 2 lynching, you'll see the description of the Don, "and the Don is reposed, but smug, but not in an outwardly fashion." Now go find an online dictionary and do a search for repose/reposed, you'll get a couple definitions, one of them being "to lie dead." See where I'm going here...Don was gone on Night 2.

Bala Shark looks down at the Townies assembled before him. They seem to be gathered together in unity, or is it the calm before the storm? Sometimes it is nice to be a solid object, firm and immovable, not swayed by winds of thoughts, possibly to be led astray. No need to re-examine the issues, though I think many will, tomorrow....Bala observes.....


The Town Lynch....

Miken lays trapped on the stretcher, much as pregnant molly in too small of a breeder's net. You can run but you can't hide. Regardless of the stress induced or by what means, it is close to the end. Despite some better thoughts on what not to do, the fate is unstoppable. The chlorine will gas off, correct? Just a little bit of short term discomfort...?

It appears not....Miken is gone, as they wished, but the means are of the ones in control.....

The Mafia prowl....

The Townies have retired, not pleased with having not found a Mafia member, but some not really upset over it all. Kind of like, "hey I gave you some advice, you ignored it", something many newbies hear at ACville.

They head out to the edges of the town, to one of the less vocal members as of recent times. The door is open even at this hour and in a climate that usually harbors mistrust in ACville.

The dispatch is quick and without much pre-meditation....no real reason....?
Or just fulfilling the role...? Making a wild guess....?

None of above matter to the victim. They pass from ACville for game #6. Just as the missing otto is never found.

The Night rolls on....


judgemax wishes things were better. The Town needs help, but personal issues come first. They know the thoughts of all ACville's residents are with them.

Seems things are rough for the Townies in this round. Way too much infighting and not just keeping things on the issue vice the people. In a mad dash to freedom and hopefully better times, clown-lover jumps from the tank.

As Day #3 unfolds....


Bala looks down at the dimenished crowd, wondering how the overnight events will change the town. Appears a lot of recalculations will have to be done, by all....

The Doctor scans the crowd and ponders how things could be different. And the Don is reposed, but smug, but not in an outwardly fashion. The Detective seems in deep thought over recent knowledge and how best to use it.

Can things get better for the Innocent Townies...? The ACville population is now at 19, and the five lost ones are all Innocents.




The folks head out for Day #3.......





No one seems to look closely at Bala....such a common figure, often overlooked by those that frequent here.....

Mee-mee and plantling look over their shoulders before rounding a corner to their jobs. They both have a thought as independent and connected as things can be, that the Bala has turned to look at them.

Which is just as weird as the thoughts of KOTD who swears the Bala turned but wrote it off to imagination. Something that seems to run free here in ACville.

Madcraw observes all of the above, and has the single thought of review posts and find the lies.



Game on....

This quote from rb, all but confirms that we've already hit mafia. Even though townies think that they haven't yet hit mafia, on morning of Day 4 rb gives the count 10 townies vs. 7, but says that at this rate, game could end on Night 6. The numbers don't jive if we haven't hit mafia already....right? The fact that none of the previous nights ever revealed a secret mafia identity means it HAD to be the Don who was gone.

A restless night for the true Townies. They realize that the lynching of Ice is a big blow and not all the votes would have been Mafia. Some of them are as much to blame as the folks they are trying to exterminate from their town.

Bala looks down, (facing the sunrise...? he always observed the sunset before...?), eavesdropping on the small groups as they start to head out on their tasks.

Sploke appears to be mumbling to himself, as he walks off, with a slight spring to his steps.

bkw, viewing his palm pilot, walking with purpose, in a different direction.

Jensons, sitting on a nearby bench, watching the activity in a Town that now ressembles a whirlpool forming at the sink drain.


17 Townies remain....10 Innocents and 7 Mafia.

Night 6 could be the deciding Night, at this rate of Innocent demise.


Day 4..Game On...next Night fall...Saturday, 7/28, 8 PM EST

With all of that said, I still liked DD for mafia. The fact that rb described her as 'peacefully sleeping' or something like that leads me to believe that she is possibly secret identity mafia. We won't know until tomorrow night. We do need to be careful with mee-mee, though. While I do believe that she's an innocent, I'm not as positive yet (although I suspect it) that DD is mafia. Until we know that DD IS mafia, let's not clear mee-mee 100%, as rb states that the vigilante can be innocent OR mafia.

At any rate, the good news is that townies could really be ahead 7 vs. 4 at this point....at least 7 vs. 5 for sure.

Earlier joander agreed with my list and voted for jpappy. Fair enough. I am curious Jo of what your read on jl is. Not asking you to vote just want to know how you interpret their game thus far.

i do not mind a JL lynch at this point, but JL hasnt posted in a while, neither has jpap.

Either one of them i am game for, and i think they are both mafia to be honest. But, id rather stick to jpappy to be honest, just because i feel there is a stronger case for jpap as mafia, rather than JL... although cases could be made either way.

I hate to say it, but I think I agree with Sway. Nick wouldn't be my first or second choice.

I guess we'll see tonight. If Nick is innocent, then plantling and Mad have some explaining to do. If nick is mafia, then we have to still find the next one.

Looks like more and more people are thinking my list is not accurate. We'll see who the mafia hit tonight.

This is the post I was talking about. Swayde was also innocent so it wouldn't have mattered, Ogre. You would have put all the blame on Z's if it had gone that way. Then with enough following even some townies, it would have been game over.

i was a bit afraid of something like this happening. With everyone so excited and jumping all over the fact that she was probably the don. We still may have the don amongst us.

But really, thats not a huge deal is it.. i mean relatively speaking they are just another mafia, and we need to go 100% with the lynches from here on out anyways.

KOTD, I got the feeling you weren't too pleased when BKW showed up. You even called him a bad detective. That wasn't very nice. I think he found just the names we needed, Z and Swayde to save us just in time.

i was very frusterated with the town yesterday, bkw was not a bad detective, but he was not a great one. there still is no real guarantee that z or swayde isn't the don

I was thinking the same thing...also notice that one player may have tipped her hand by stating that she was 'in the know' as to why Judge had to pull out...
