How to attach Java Moss to driftwood?

I have to agree with dvanv. Sometimes depending on your livestock in the tank thread is just not an option. Also there are tiems where the plant will not fully adhere to the wood or rock prior to it desolving. Thus I have taken to using 10lb test line that I was able to grab at the local dollar store.

I use fishing line. When the moss or whatever (I use this for Java ferns too) seems to have attached I go in with my long scissors and snip the fishing line out.

This is a bit off topic but where would you be able to find java moss? I found them on ebay but a little hesitant to buy and LFS around this area don't carry them...

Well you could always look in the Sale/Trade section of this site and put up an ad for some. I currently have some right now that I would be willing to give away. Like about a half a gallon:lipssealedsmilie: . Most of the time you just have to ask.:grinyes:

Yeah, I'd have to wait til I could go to the Post Office, though. It's a shame really. It cost me 5 bux for about a golfball size bag. Now I have too much and I can never throw anything away...:wall: If you could pay shipping that would be great and the amount for the padded envelope. That comes around to around $1.20.
