Mafia 9: The Bloody Coup

No super mod powers...just doing a manual count of posts in this thread.

My biggest concern is people not voting. I really think that we, as a country, should make voting mandatory.

I could be wrong, but I believe Ice has made voting mandatory in this game. The only "non-vote" being a vote for "nobody". That is why the discussion of voting for no one had me a bit worried, knowing that either rebel team could hide behind it.

I vote for Hooked Newbie...

random picking of people...
twisting post words or just not understanding...

mine is subject to change if anyone else comes to light...

Interesting. I "picked" no one. Merely posted my thoughts which is what I would hope all citizens would be doing. I never twisted anyone's word's. If you disagree, please post the quote to substantiate.

Why change? If you're sure, stick to it without giving the caveat that you'll jump to any trains that form. Thanks for the information.

With about 24 hours left the votes sit on

Charlie-1- Jl (89)

KOTD-1- Joander(175)

Jl-1-Ogre(279)

HN-1-mee mee (280)

What is the punishment for not voting?

A non vote by a CC would equate to the same as a Rebel not sending in a vote if the leader is killed. I will use their name in the night fall storyline and it might give a clue to who/what they are.

Unless the non vote is preceded by a 2 days of non posts in which case they die an untimely death.

I'm voting Joander because of the first few postings. I was willing to overlook them and try to focus on others and see where they were screwing up and then I read the first page again. I also read somewhere where Jo was calling I am guessing "citizens" as townies..... It was only a little while when we all read our roles, why would you call anyone a "townie" in this game, Jo?

I vote to lynch Joander

I vote to lynch DeputyChief

I already stated my reasoning for being suspicious of him and I can pull them up I you need me to. I want him to see this vote and explain what happened yesterday...maybe he will have a list this time? If I believe his reason is solid than I may remove the vote and reconsider.

Who at this point in the game is "trustworthy"? I'd like names and reasoning.

It was my roundabout way of saying I didn't think JL was to be trusted. He almost fooled me once in Mafia 6, which could have cost us townies the game. Perhaps experienced is a more apt term than trustworthy for what I was getting at. I wanted to see if the experienced players which would include yourself, would agree with JL that a no-vote might be best in this particular game. I believe I clarified myself in a later post:

Alright JL, I was just having flashbacks of being led down the wrong path by another JL in Mafia 6. :)

As I've already stated though, I don't see the merit in not voting and am also waiting to hear what others have to say about it.

So you say you suspect JL because he proposed the no-vote and then you suspect me even though I was opposed to the no-vote. Hmmmmm, very odd. Makes me wonder if you're upset that I didn't go along with your buddies suggestion.

I haven't really said that I suspected anybody so far, but folks (including you) seem to be really defensive early this game. Curious, but I have every expectation of being offed quickly again so I've pretty much got nothing to lose so why not question folks?
