Mafia 9: The Bloody Coup

Ok, here are my thoughts and suspects for today.

These are my strongest suspects.

Deputy- Mad’s case (and then dying) sealed it for me and I was suspect of him before. Several other people have pointed out inconsistencies as well.

Ogre- I think several people have made good cases and I believe he is rebel.

CL- I still don’t like the gut feelings and complete lack of anything that could help the Country.

Need to be watched IMO…

Sploke OR jpappy- They both said some rather curious things today. Though jpappy seems to have made a better case so far, he also seems a bit more defensive.

Rbishop- Started the game with a lot of posts, but has tailed off. (before you go off KOTD, I understand that there can be reasons for this). He was strongly pursuing mee-mee, which could seems a good thing, but it could also mean he’s on the other rebel team. If Ogre is also Rebel (especially if he’s FBI) and gets lynched then rb looks very innocent to me.

KOTD- Mostly just because of the interaction with Ogre. I alos found it curious that he was able to post in between the Lynch and Hit last night. Like he had it ready to go…

Z- Still playing differently. I can’t shake it, something just doesn’t seem right. Also, the vote on Sploke right now seems odd to me.


All that said, it's getting scary. We're outnumbered and the BG hit one of us instead of one of them. I do believe Ogre is rebel, but I'm also pretty certain on Deputy and I think all the votes on Ogre give them a place to hide. Those that voted for him and have not had them on their lists before today look especially curious. Right now I'd vote for any of my top 3. I'll keep reading and see how it goes. For now my vote stays on Deputy. Off to do ore reading / replying in case tonight's my last.
 
HN your post doesn't make sense to me. You say my vote on Sploke doesn't seem right yet you have sploke higher on your list than me? Yesterday I started the Mee-Mee train because I felt it was pretty obvious she was a Rebel. Mad all but dug her grave with his great catch on her 10 v. 10 slip up and they took him out because of it. I think Ogre is most likely a Rebel but my feeling is not as strong as the one for MM and the train that lined up on him looked scary IMO. I am pretty sure of Sploke and therefore I'm sticking to my guns and hoping others see what I do. jpappy pushed a bit against Sploke today and I'm hoping others will as well. Anyways, heading home now so hopefully I'll have some time in a bit to catch up before Night falls.

What does your single vote on Sploke 4 hours before night accomplish? You started the mee-mee train, but please don't imply that I jumped on. I made my thoughts very clear to everyone on the topic. I agree that the train lined up on Ogre early (he's been on my list from the start), but I think we need to always be looking one lynch ahead. What are your thoughts on Deputy? My concern here is that we are close to even with the FBI, which means that they could control the voting if they gain a numbers advantage. Why so focused on only the CIA? IMO we need to have a numbers advantage on BOTH Rebel teams.
 
Oh and why defensive after I merely state that I believe you need to be watched? Seems rather out of character for you.
 
Wow nice attempt at a smear campaign. I had you leaning CC but that just flopped for sure. My vote does no good on Ogre right now either except to get me lynched for being a "late switcher." I think Deputy is a Rebel as well, as you can see in my list from lunch time. You are correct we need to get ALL the Rebels but the more of one group we get the easier it will be to find others in that group, that was my point. We have an in with the CIA as we now know 2 of its members. By searching out connections they had with other players we can see who their buddies are. I don't think I'm being defense personally I'm just answering the questions asked of me, something others have not been doing.

I don't disagree with "By searching out connections they had with other players we can see who their buddies are". Right now it is CCs 6, FBI 5, CIA 3 correct? If we lose one more the FBI is even with us. I was not trying to start any type of "campaign" against you (if I were I'd make comparisons between your post and mee-mee's past posts) and I'm not really concerned with where you have me leaning. My ONLY point was that right now it looks like you have your vote camped on someone sure not to be lynched tonight. That seems odd to me when we're at a numbers disadvantage.

I think Deputy is likely a Rebel. However, despite several people saying that there was good evidence to support it I have not seen it therefore I would not be comfortable to vote Deputy at this point. The best case I can build right now is against Sploke who did little to respond to my accusation by the way. I understand the numbers right now are against the CC's in Total and near so against the FBI but Ogre is going whether I vote for him or not. You can read into that what you will but the truth of it is there ARE multiple Rebels voting for him right now. There have to be at least two but I'd guess three (the CIA). I'd hazard to guess if Ogre is a Rebel then he will be an FBI.

I hope you're right. Any rebel gone tonight is a good thing, but I think an FBI rebel would be even better than a CIA rebel at this point because of the numbers. I agree that there are multiple rebels voting for Ogre right now, that's obvious. There could just as easily be individual rebels voting for no one that has a chance though. From the last vote count, that would leave you and Ogre.

I'm not accusing, I'm questioning. Right now, no one is a glaring innocent to me. I know what I am, but have no solid ideas on others. It's easier for me to be suspicious and find rebels than identify innocents.
