Did not see that first time around..i would not have one of them, they are very territorial and can be nasty towards new inhabitants to the tank...And can be a real pita when you come to remove them...
Well thanks to inexperience and the local fish store - I bought 4 baby damsels since according to the wife - were just so darn cute!. Then I talked with a buddy of mine and he didn't hesitate to slap me. I think that 3 of the 4 devil fish may end up in the sump?
You want to be aiming for around 8.2 - 8.3 area for your pH....
Personally, i like Reef Crystals for salt...has great added elements and never suffered any pH issues when using it...
It's been a toss up between the two. I came really close to Reef Crystals since they had a bucket 'kit' but I had some of the items already so opted for the Instant Ocean instead. I can always try it later.
I would not use crushed coral as your substrate, its notorious for trapping detritus and causing elevated nitrate readings, my advice would be to stick to the sugar grade aragonite reef sand....
My 10 gallon has some crushed coral + GARF grunge - so I think I can put that in the sump? Or should I take a small portion of it and add a new layer of aragonite?
Just caulerpra on its own would be fine, dont really see a need for the mangroves...
Just an opinion of course..

I'm aspiring to 'overdue' it!
Thanks for the replies guys!
