The bamboo is just lucky bamboo. As long as the leaves don't get too much light and are emerged the seem to do fine.
The bettas have plenty of room in the tanks, I have my two and also watch after my ex-landlords at the office in the same type of tank and all three usually have a nest built, even if I can't get to the WC for a few weeks. I think the pics are decieving due to they are pressed up against the glass flaring.
Its from the tall grass I have. It shot a couple of those for a few weeks, then I upgraded to the 55g, and had inadequate lighting till recently. Hopefully when I get pressurized CO2 it will start to flower again.
I believe they are half gallons :FIREdevil:. But I go against the norm as saying bettas don't need alot of space.
The moss is just java moss sandwiched between fiberglass window screening. It took only about 2-3 weeks for the floor to fill in, but there is still some spots that need to fill in but you can't see it unless you look straight down at it.
