HEY this is my gf and my future wife leave her and her fish tank alone, cause u know what she knows alot about fish and how to take care of them...so back off, and someone also said...its what the owner likes, not how real it looks
 
i'm a sucker for ruins in fish tanks, my 5G still has the little greek ruin in it, looks amazing when my mystery snail is climbing all over it, like attack of the giant snail. planted tanks are cool but i gotta admit, i'm a huge fan of the fun decorations as well :)

I was one of those that mentioned it was what the owner likes that counts, but easy on the knight in shining armor act man. :) Let's keep this about the fish and tank. What type of fish is she planning to keep? How is she cycling the tank? Has she roped you into helping with water changes yet?

The OP obviously likes it and while I personally prefer natural looking tanks, I think it looks good and the bottomline is that if they like it, that's what matters. What tank doesn't need work? I haven't quit working on any of mine. It takes an open mind to appreciate something that differs from your favorite niche.

I agree. I can't wait for my BP's and Bala to die of old age but I'm stuck with them. Oh well. Oh and "bottom line" is two words. ;) ;)
 
ok guys. thanks for the imput. well, thank you to some of you. i have 4 fishtanks , but this one is my favorite. there's no need to be hostile. i just heard about this site, doesn't mean i ma newbie. ive studied marine bio, snorkeled on reefs, and have had fishtanks since i was born so don't talk to me like im 5.

oh yeah and by the way i have 2 long finned rainbow fish, 3 long finned zebra danios a white beta with blue eyes, and a koi angel fish. thats an old picture.

the first picture has the angel in it, however blury it is
 
it does, it has an orange background. i know it doesnt look natural, but i like it. it matches my room.

Awesome! I've not seen a blue-eyed Betta, but it sounds cool. More pics are always good. :)
