Little things like avatar changes?

I explained the avatar change.

Its not there to help anyone decide what I am. Its to early to use an avatar as proof of any type of role.

I vote to genetically test Jpappy. This vote is pending any further information and a very good reason why he has yet to post anything at all. I'm hoping that maybe his little buddies might nudge him into posting in defense or at least wake him up a bit so we can make a judgment based on his actual posts, and not a lack of posts.

I agree with voting to have people come out of the woodwork. I just think its been slow since it is a holiday weekend. Jpap lives in CT and I know this is the last weekend before school starts so he might just be living up his last week of freedom. Don't know about Guppy but assuming the same.

Hopefully they both post today/tonight so its not a last second judgment call come tomorrow.

I know you explained earlier why you did it, but it does seem like an odd choice of an avatar and I don't think it's ever too early for an avatar change in a game to be called into question, especially when it so obviously is related to the game.

My kids start school in August so my timeline is all messed up.

My take on it is that it doesn't show a role. The area is a biological wasteland and its a warning to others to stay away. But I'd be interested in your guys translation of it also.

I can't say that I'm real comfortable with how quickly the votes have collected on mee-mee, but I agree that she is the best suspect so far. I am going to put my vote elsewhere for now. I may change it, but I don’t think we’ll learn much of anything more if everyone just jumps on mee-mee with the same reasons. I for one don’t believe that day 1 is “random”. There’s obviously not much to go on, but in the past those who pushed random votes usually pushed for innocents.


Mee-mee: Retaliatory vote with subsequent retraction. I also don’t believe she was reading too carefully. Mentioned day 1 being random.

Ewurm: I’m chalking up the quick vote to newbieness for now, but I am looking forward to the promised “intuition”. The retraction and jump onto the mee-mee train looks suspect to me though.

Deputy: Post 59 is a little curious to me. Playing confused and going so far as to list Rb.

Swayde: Seemed to mildly attempt to protect mee-mee and was also defeded lightly by Deputy.

Charlie: Something’s just different this game. Usually he is off and joking on day 1, but so far only has 3 posts and 1 of them included the wrong quote (see post 55).

KOTD: Too quiet.

Jpappy & Guppy: WAY too quiet.

I listed rb as a joke, I thought people would find some humor in it...hehehe...No real meaning in it...

I agree with you on some of the quietness of certain players...Most likely they'll say they've been busy and haven't been around to post...We all know how suspect that excuse is...I also agree with you about CS...The joking isn't there as ususal....

What's your take on my comments about mee-mee and the lack of usual roleplay...I almost want to say the same with Swayde...I know they started up with it a little while ago, but I'd have to check old games to see how early they got started before. I almost feel like their first posts used to be like that....

I actually didn't think much into it. I just pointed out that it qualified as one of those "little things" to look for and want to call everything into question. Your explanation and lack of reaction were enough for me. If I were to place any weight on it, it would probably be a bad move on the part of the vial juggling Lab Worker since the bad guys would do nothing to call attention to themselves.

My point was just that it's never too early to question an avatar change. I have no idea what role, if any it could be representing.

For what it's worth, I am leaning you towards innocent. Yes, you are being aggressive and vocal, however, you are also being a lot more logical & reasonable with your posts than you were last game and even a bit more cautious in not pushing as hard for 1 person.
