55 Gallon with the stand. And my friend works at Petco so I got a bit more off :D

Well, Nick, guess I won't tell you about the phone call I just got. I had posted on Craig's List in the wanted section, that I would rescue fish or take unwanted tanks and equipment. I post it weekly.

Someone wants me to come get their 29 gallon set up, for free, since they are moving....they are even meeting me half way between our houses!

thats the same tank i got. i had my heart set on a 40 breeder but they were already sold out by 6:30 sunday night. i think that this is going to look very good with tall plants. its pretty deep though. im a little concerned that adequate lighting is going to cost $$$ for this thing
We got the twin tube Perfecto light, it provides plenty of light, I'll try and get a pic up today in this thread, i also got the twin tube glass canopy, its 3 inches in front of the hinged and 6 inches behind, necessary because the 45 is only 12 wide, and with a big light it takes up alot of room, as you know there are other lighting options avalibale.....:goldfish:

Here's our new dollar per gallon 45, not quite done yet, we just set it up last night, as you can see the twin tube lighting illuminates it quite nicely. 75 dollars for the light fixture....:goldfish:

Weezer, where did you get your light fixture from? I also picked up the 45 gallon tank during the sale and still looking for a hood/light... btw, your tank looks great!

What kind of message do you post? I'd like to be able to do the same thing, but all of the ones I see on ny craigslist make the poster sound like a beggar. Thanks
