mods i think this thread is totally unfair in that in the uk tanks are far more expensive and this thread rubs it in our faces....i'm moving house to US....just to get dollar per gallon tanks!!!!

i agree!!! its sooooooooooooooo unfair!! it cost me £100 for my 25gal (including hood, light n filter but still!) :headshake2: it would have cost like £12.50 there :cry:

I got an 80gal from that deal about 6 years ago.
They had to order it for me and when I went to pick it up they said it was a mistake and I shouldn't get it for the coupon price, but they gave it to me anyway. Saved a little $$ on that one.
It was an upgrade for my four Red Belly Piranhas at the time from a 55.
I changed to salt water about 8 months ago.

Man i have spring fever. I could go for a couple 55's or a half dozen 20 longs about now.
Oh, by the way, Perfecto tanks are tempered on the bottoms AND the front and back glass (but not the sides, it turns out). Don't ask me how i know this.

Sounds like you were drilling holes for bulkheads. That broken glass just cut threw me like a sharp knife.
