Booze on Sunday!!!

Dry Counties Suck! Move to Illinois. We don't sell 3.2 beer and our Grocery stores carry BOOZE Too! :headbang2: :silly: :grinyes:

That depends on the county still, Tazewell County near Peoria is dry on Sundays and can't sell liquer in Krogers. Also near the Indiana border up north, there is another Sunday dry county.

Yes, my lil Kentucky county has finally lifted the ban on booze sales on Sundays!

That means on my way home from soccer on Sunday I will now be able to stop and..... BUY A SIX PACK.

*Jealous* It isn't just the "no alcohol" on Sundays that bothers me.... we can't buy any kind of non-grocery type items before 1pm on Sundays either. It's rediculous. And you'd think that the alcohol restriction would end at midnight Sunday night.... but nooooo. No alcohol sales until Monday morning (about 7am I think).

Radar, I remember my first year of college, crossing into Tennessee. lol I went to Murray. Everyone would cross the state line, get drunk, and drive on home. :eek3: I think they're talking about lifting the ban there, probably not a bad idea. lol

I don't think it will ever happen in my little Kentucky county.You can't even buy it in my town during the week.:headshake2: You have to go across the bridge over into West Virginia.
