Unusual shaped tank from an uncommon place journal

I thought I saw a little Betta Hangout there. That is an amazing tank. It makes me want to make something like that but I will have to wait until I have my own house. Was it $200 USD with labor and materials or $200 just materials?
Oh and I just thought of something I would of done. I would of built the same tank and put it on the other side of the TV then connected them with a little tunnel that ran under the TV. I just think that would be amazing and really unique but it might be overkill. Anyway your whole setup is AMAZING!

Yes jagr200 there is a little Betta hangout there. Costing part is little complicated. The whole Cabinet work (board, materials, paint and labor) was done by carpenters who took around 1500 USD. The aquarium part(Glass, lighting and labor) cost me around 200 USD. And as for fish/filter/plants the cost is usual…
You see in Bangladesh the labor cost is pretty low compared to 1st world countries. The downside is I can’t get good equipment here like Canister filter/pressurized CO2 etc. I travel a lot and usually try to buy them from Singapore or Malaysia.
The TV is Sony Bravia V 40”. It’s not a true 1080p rather 1080i. Doesn’t matter for me as it will take some time to hit HD in Bangladesh.

That's really fantastic. The shelf in the tank is excellent. A while back I saw a post where somebody wanted to put something like that in their tank(the shelf idea). I hope they see this, seems like it'll work out.
