I've decided to turn my 55 gal into a reef set up, I bought a Medal Halide, a HOB refugium put more LR in over the last week or so. I also moved took out my Valentine puffer and my chocolate chip star out of the tank. So here are some pictures

Thanks, right now I have 3 clams 2 of them you can see in the picture's the 3rd I can't get a really good pic. of. I'm thinking about adding another clam and of course more corals.

Very Cool Clam Tank... I have been thinking of getting one of those as my next purchase. I was down in the cities last week for training and saw a couple at World of Fish that caught my fancy..

Awesome!! i've never seen one not in a sandbed Thats sweet man

That is a shame and is what has led to many misconceptions. It is actually precisely the opposite in the wild for most clam species. You will hardly ever find most clams on sand in the ocean.

wow, learn something new everyday ;)

Great set up you got going on, keep up the good work! :)

Thanks, and yes it's true about clams not being in the sand bed, the crocea and maxima clams are mainly on some sort of rock, some of the bigger clams like the Gigas you will find in the sand.
