Is it wrong to....

I can understand both sides of the argument. I don't think it's right, nor do I think it's a horrible thing. I think that Petco should maybe go down on their prices myself because they are basically ripping people off. :-)

Still, I wouldn't go through the trouble.

That's fine, I didn't mean to imply that you should. You gave him good advice and the rest is up to him.

Ya I guess Im not an overly religious person. So I dont really know the meaning of Karma in order to believe it. I tend to like what I know what Im talking about or believing in before I say something or make up my mind on something.

That's a good policy, and one that probably would have kept me out of a lot of trouble if I followed it. :)

I think its a good idea, kind of like what crack addicts do, they find a recipt in the garbage, then go intot he store and find the merchandise on the recipt then bring it to the counter and return it, its pretty clever, but stupid, i wouldnt waste my time doing somehitng like that

I guess he could go through the trash outside Petco looking for receipts...

Simply, yes. After shipping, gas, time and effort, I doubt he'll find much of a profit from it. He could put in less work at McDonalds and make the same $21. Not to mention the Karma loss. No offense, but I have faith that something will go wrong for him in or because of this endeavor.
Having "faith" dosen't feed you OR your animals, but it shure will feed the beast known as corporate.Go ahead and do this. You are taking advantage of a defect they let happen!!They will profit wether or not you do this.Ideologies have been getting people killed in the middle east for hundreds of years, where is karma now? The same way a new car dealership wont tell you abot a current deal if you dont ask,you are not obliged to tell them about a UPC failure.

I really dont think its really a big deal, but I wouldnt do it. besides, you would have to buy a ton of them to make a decent profit, and I think if you went into petco wanting to return like 50 filters, they might be a little suspicious
