Is it wrong to....

Is it wrong ?!?! If you have to ask no amount of explaining will do any good. Of course it's wrong. The entire transaction being proposed is based on maintaining that the item was purchased at Petco. That is a lie. But apparently that is not enough of a moral or ethical problem for some people. And I would expect that this same person would throw a fit if he caught a Petco employee in a lie, or even making an error. I prefer to behave toward others in ways that I would like them to behave toward me. Simple enough?

My friend once did this. He got a rena xp3 from petsmart price match for 89.99, and went to another petsmart to return that same item and got retail for it..179.99. He got store credit though. I think you have a smart way of thinking, but it is the wrong way..this is morally wrong, don't do it! bad karmaaaaa
 
Ya he didnt do it but wanted to see what people thought about it on here. He is actually an avid user of this site. It started a good discussion on morals I believe and what this world is coming too. It really made me think about how other people think. (if that made any sense) Just how some people think it is right because the corporation is evil and others feel it to be wrong. Just a good discussion in general.

Yeah? If "he's" such an avid user, why didn't he post the thread? My personal opinion is that "he" (a.k.a. YOU) wanted to float the idea and are now surprised that the majority of folks on here do have morals and find the endeavor repulsive. There are some out there that are simply a waste of O2.
 
No actually its not me who wants to do it. For one I like my money too much to risk it and two I have two overstocked tanks and dont have room for more fish. Oh and he uses this site to look up information but dosent ever post. He makes fun of me for using forums.
 
I agree.....thats just not cool.....stealing money from your local businesses....especially in these harsh times for our economy.

If all that is true, it really does look like he is using you instead of forums. Be careful who you post for. All in all, I'm sickened by this and will unsubscribe so that I'm not tempted to express my true feelings anymore.
 
No I wanted to post to see what people thought. We were talking about it and I was like "Dude its wrong because you are making them give you credit and then you are taking fish from them. So they are losing lots of money on fish even if they do sell the filter." he agreed on them losing money but said he thought they were dumb to take it back without a receipt and I mentioned I could post on here and see what people thought.
