Question about khuli loaches

I got mine today for $2.99 each. So far they seem really active, checking out the tank and their new friends. I was wondering about the sand, though. I haven't seen them burrow once yet. It's the all purpose sand by Quick Crete. Is it too rough for them?

They have been bred occaisionally in home aquaria, not commercially.

That was my point.

The pangios we see for sale in stores are wild caught. Check loaches.com, breeding is rare & accidental.

I'm actually a member there and a frequent visitor.

Oh, I didn't. I was only talking about these species possibly the only few ones bred so far in the home aquaria whether by accident or not. I should have been more specific anyway.lol

I got mine at the LFS near me, they cost £5 for 3 of them or £1.75 each

$17 for a half dozen a little outside Boston MA. of course, I can only find four of my six at the moment, but at the moment I still have faith that there are six somewhere.
