I'm disappointed it came down to a random coin toss - but hey my own vote was on myself. I'm delighted to still be in the game.

HN - can you please do me a favour now when we are close to bringing this one home. following an unprecedented 3 mafia kills. Think long and hard about why you are still saying I am mafia.

Say what you want about day 1, my Ogre vote etc. I'll continue to defend/explain that. I voted for brains, unwaveringly, and I have already explained my subsequent posts on day 2 and I stand over them too. Lady G was my preferred vote, aside from myself.

Other candidates which I said I would vote for included capt. caveman.

Ask yourself - is this how a mafia would vote & act. You can do a lot better than me for your next mafia hit and you know it.

Those who said 'you were overly defensive/there wernt enough votes on you to warrant your responses/voting for yourself is defeatist mafia' can go fish - I can smell a train forming and I knew I wouldn't be around during the day (real time day over here) to do anything more to defend myself.

Today is Friday, Tomorrow is Saturday, I hope to have a lot more time, work allowing, for the game and it is very much game on. I will not be voting for myself this round.

When you say lets make it interesting do you mean you find random determinations/anything to give Lady G a shot interesting ?

Ya know with the "can't shake that feeling" that's been used on me this game I should have realized a connection sooner, but I will list some posts that I think points to a connection between Z and Coler. Now I can't shake the feeling that they very well may be connected as the Mafia team that can communicate.

Interesting the way the regular cast flew out the gate. Afraid as I said earlier I'm not going to be much help Day 1, but I will redouble my efforts upon return. This is going to be a really fun round and after sitting out the last game I feel reenergized. I want to get a vote in so I won't UD but I hope I am able to catch up on Sunday and cast a legitimate vote.

Z votes me supposedly to prevent a UD and says it's strange I didn't mention Ice's name in my post to Charlie and CCM.

I think what we can look for at this point is distancing from the mafia and possibly townies who can communicate. It is too early for mafia to go for block votes, so voting patters somewhat interest me less unless they are linked with 'analysis' or arguments.

My best mafia suspectsmight also include Plantling at this point. There are I understand no town power roles so no reason for townies to be trying to hide in the background and Plantlings posting so far has really contributed nothing.

However I have no vote at this time.

Coler states his suspicions of me, accusing me of hiding and when this is in fact his first post and half the town has posted less than me. He also mentions town power roles, which Z later mentions also. I believe this is a set up to get others noticing me and also so he can place a vote on me later.

the distancing stuff/possible teams is bs ? sorry but objectively it is not - its there on the thread and is certainly 'possible', as I said. It's a helpful thought as far as I'm concerned.

paranoia ('singled out') however is for me a mafia thing. Especially when I said only that you might be amongst my best mafia suspects at that early stage. Its not like I voted for you.

For now, you have become my best mafia suspect and as it is now about time for me to vote that's what I'm going to do I vote to lynch plantling.

Yup, he votes me saying I'm his best suspect. Not Ogre. Not Brains. No mention of them. As votes pick up on Ogre and no more on myself, Coler withdraws his votes "to think" then places his vote on Ice who has more votes than myself. Eventually Coler does place his vote on Ogre saying he believes Ice is innocent now... Right around the same time Z comes out and says he believes Ice is innocent and switches his vote to Ogre.

look I don't know if plantling is mafia, but its my gut instinct and I'm following it - its worth observing the reactions in any event. I will have time to change my vote if I think that's a good thing to do.

Yes I am suspicious. I can show you my weekend activities if you'd like to see them. I've read up but will be doing a better reread tomorrow. I read as quickly as I could to get in my vote before Night. My suspects would be brains as I said before Night, plantling, the non-vote on CCM and early accusations, and charlie - kicking lots of weasels but not starting the kicking, he is following more than he usually does. See how he followed you when you questioned me?

Let's make it two in a row.

Z lists myself and Charlie as suspects after having read up. Me for being connected to CCM? and Charlie for following. Ummm Charlie wasn't following and I'd just made a case on CCM and voted him at the start of day 2. At this point, I'm wondering if Z is skimming a lot. Charlie defends himself quite well in his case against Z post 490. I urge everyone to reread it as I don't want to quote it and possibly have it lose it's meaning since it has some quotes in it. I believe this case may have something to do why Charlie was hit.

Vocal suspects:
brains, plantling, charlie

Quiet suspects:
CCM, BKW, MM

I am more interested in the quiet players than the vocal ones right now. We know MM gives herself away when she is evil so I would really like to hear more from her. I think CCM has outted themselves much like Ogre and brains. I think these are the Mafia that can not talk. I can imagine that is a precarious role, and since we have never had a round like this before they don't seem to know just how to play it.

If Ogre, brains, and CCM are three of the five outsider Mafia, who would everyone pick as the other two? I think I would pick joander and MM. I suspect the four Mafia that are in communion are much more vocal in the game. I guess Ogre could of been one of the 4, but he seemed to be playing rogue to me.

We make Z's "vocal suspects" along w/Brains. Whatever, IMO, brains wasn't all that vocal.

LOL, why do you not? I posted why already if you'll go back and read my posts. But additionally, I think Coler pulled his vote off of me because he needed to try and save Ogre if possible. That's why his vote went on Ice because Ice was the best bet (as an innocent) since Brains is most likely also Mafia and perhaps even on Coler's side who can talk if you can't.

Based on those attacking me today and their voracity, my Mafia list is:

I am actually bumping charlie down my list, as he is still coming at me, which is expected, but he is doing it in his normal way. Seems he is just fishing for info like any good Townie should be. But he is someone I always watch closely. My vote stays on brains today. If I am lynched or hit I think there are plenty of trails showing who is responsible.

Hmmm. Yes Ogre was Mafia, and I also think brains is. If and when brains is shown Mafia that puts Ice at about a 9 on my list (highly Innocent). I can't fault Coler for voting for you as I believe you to be Mafia. There was no way to save Ogre, we all knew he was Mafia so that is a bunk excuse. At the time of the now infamous WeezerGate it was clearly difficult to tell whether Ice was up to something or had found a legitimate slip up. I wasn't here at that time but I've read the post and everyone was confused. Just looks like you're building strawmen to me. Going after Innocents that haven't been up to par thus far. I see you doing it with me and Coler, and maybe LG also.

If you are teamed with King you two have shown your hand, the only thing I can figure is that one of you are the Rogue Mafia and one of you are the Communicative Mafia. Congrats on finding one another, and thanks for showing all the rest of us.

Z sticking up for Coler claiming there was no way to save Ogre and also saying Weezergate was so confusing it was difficult to tell if Ice was up to something.

crazy talk - voting for brains right now. have been all day. I accept a late vote by me on Ogre; so be it, I acknowledged it at the time. I did it when I decided Ice was pretty much a sure-fire innocent.

I don't have anything strong as far as posts plant, it is a feeling I've had since the beginning though. But I have better suspects in front of you and will pursue those first. As I said earlier Charlie is beginning to drop down my list as I now percieve him to be kicking weasels as normal, but in the beginning he seemed to just be feigning kicking and that is why I thought he may be Mafia. I still think you and CCM are connected, I can't shake that feeling. But I would vote CCM before you as they contribute less and their posts make little sense. I didn't really have King on my radar until today, some will call it OMGUS, but it is more like he is a shark coming for where the water has been chummed. First HN and the you and charlie have been on me pretty strong. King comes in with his accusations that my game is off and throws a vote at me. I just find that sequence has some merit.

I find it odd that both Coler and Z have nothing against me postwise, it's just a strong feeling or a gut feeling.

I feel that Ogre, Lady G, Bkw, and CCM must have been on the non-communicating Mafia. They all acted a little lost to some point and Bkw and LG sparred a bit. That leaves 1 that can't speak.

I think Brains was on the communicating side. That leaves 3 that can speak. If we can find a group of three that tend to agree w/each other and seem to be helping the town, but are really slimey, then we'll have our Mafia pegged. I can't put my finger on a third for sure but I feel it may be Coler, Z, and JL.

For Plantling and Ice:

I just don't have a strong enough read on Coler. I am certainly not trying to let him slide, but I have agreed with him on some suspects. I clearly said I didn't like the vote on himself, it made no sense and was not helpful to the town, but I can see him making that play as an Innocent. In fact I am almost sure he has done this before, I have a vague recollection of that tactic being used before. Anyways I have stronger suspects.

As for Plant, yes you still make me nervous, it's just some of your early reactions as I've looked through your posts and haven't been able to find much damning evidence. If you look at my list you will see that while I still have you as a suspect I have bumped you down as I have found evidence for other suspects such as King for example. I have voted for Mafia every day, I was all over CCM and he was Mafia. I hate I'm having to work twice as hard to prove my Innocence because I was away on day 1. I still feel that my absense is being held against me.
