Just wanted to throw my suspect list out there

I had feelings on Z, and Plants posts look well explained to connect Z and Coler.

I don't think KOTD is mafia. He jumped onto Ogre to quickly on the hint post. If KOTD was mafia on either side he wouldn't have outed Ogre so quickly.




Coler are you withholding a theory that could help the town?

No. When I say it shook up my view of the game I mean I didn't have King as a suspect until the swing vote...honestly Ice, that's a pretty big reach to 'witholding a theory that could help the town ?' - did you really ask that question in a spirit of inquiry ?

I feel that Ogre, Lady G, Bkw, and CCM must have been on the non-communicating Mafia. They all acted a little lost to some point and Bkw and LG sparred a bit. That leaves 1 that can't speak.

I think Brains was on the communicating side. That leaves 3 that can speak. If we can find a group of three that tend to agree w/each other and seem to be helping the town, but are really slimey, then we'll have our Mafia pegged. I can't put my finger on a third for sure but I feel it may be Coler, Z, and JL.

Now that Lady G is gone, of the people I had pegged in my own mind there is him, yourself and Judgemax. Caveman, who I would also have considered voting for is also a dead mafia. King enters the fray based on his last minute shot to give Lady G a chance (btw that late vote would be worth the inevitable heat if it was to try and save a communicating mafia but would not be worth it, in my opinion, unless King was sure of Lady G's status).

A concerted effort to get King lynched ? No, clearly not. Anyone who is thinking about the game in any depth would I feel accept that this is an issue worth looking at.

I am conscious of being biased simply because King put my neck on the block, so I am not voting yet. Of the names above I am probably thinking of King and JM most.

I still think his vote for himself was anti-town and a mafia move. He has also been overly defensive.

what's your thought process here JL ? How was it anti-town ? I say that I can't be on enough during the day to contribute further (having posted pretty late in my own defence the night before), stick a vote on myself and let the town decide.

Just saying something is anti-town and 'a mafia move' doesn't make it so. Particularly when you look at the actual result and vote pattern of last nights ballot.

Guys now would be a great time to come out if you received one of these investigations either to tell the town if they were innocent or mafia. That way we all know who needs to be hit/lynched.

There's a lot to think about in making that decision.

From a personal point of view, I would wish that I would have been investigated and cleared and that that would be shouted from the rooftops.

However, I think the townie investigator should consider whether to come out based on how central the person they investigated is...if the investigation turned up a mafia who is someone presently playing a leading role in misdirection then that could be worth outing yourself. If its someone who is innocent and in danger, then again, that could be worth doing it if you can't successfully just campaign openly for them based on the gameplay.

If its a currently peripheral figure (...why you would investigate a peripheral figure I don't know but if you did...), it might be information best kept back for the moment. Of course if it came up mafia then start the train up - but only come out if it becomes necessary to nail the hood.

The main factor in exercising your judgment here is whether by coming out and clearing someone (if the investigation came up innocent) it leaves a clear trail to one or more mafia who have been trying to hit that person, and whether if the investigation came up mafia, it just gives us that one mafia or a clear trail to others.

Judges play has changed dramatically. She has went from posting aggressively toward other to a more subtle questioning posting style. Anyone else notice this? Could she be wondering if she is next and trying to lay low now?

you're kidding me surely - I was not being lynched notwithstanding my own vote, King puts it on me, I win on the coin toss and Lady G is a mafia ?

Now why would I not be suspicious of that ?

I'm not blaming anyone other than myself DD. But you are welcome to your opinion. I'm going to stay on King as I think he has more than given himself away. I just don't see why everyone is so sold on Coler other than that screwy vote on himself.

When you say lets make it interesting do you mean you find random determinations/anything to give Lady G a shot interesting ?

Darn sure you make my list now - which does shake up my view of the game pretty severely.
