Tempted to go back to Discus

i have had my discus for almost a year now and how found that they are not near as difficult as some people make them out to be. if you like them and want to keep them again go for it! here is the article that prompt me to get started with discus.

Any good Southern California connections for good healthy Discus?

Also, how about a list of species that others have kept with Discus?

I've kept them with Misc community fish ie, tetras, rasporas, cory cats, rams ect but anybody have good experience with other species?

Same here with angelfish, ancistrus plecs, kuhli loaches and pencilfish added to the list.

Kenny's Discus in Daly City, CA, Kenny is a member here. I have or have kept neons, black neons, rummynose, loaches, julie cories, albino cories, blue rams, small young angels, bristlenose, clown pleco, gold nugget pleco all with great success. My opinion after having had blue rams in the tank is don't. The blue rams are very territorial once they pair up and yes, they even whack the discus in the head!

I think my tank will be big enough to have the discus and the Rams together. I have a 150 and the rams will probably hang out a little lower in the water colum than the Discus.

Species I'm planning on including are:
Black Skirt Tetras
Bleeding Heart Tetras
Neons
Discus
Rams
Rummy Nose Tetras
Cherry Barbs
Clown Loach
African Butterfly Fish (maybe if I can get the water right)
