Looking for a Quality LFS in Eastern PA

I live near Allentown and the one i've been going to just keeps giving me bad advice.. And the kicker is when I buy what they recommend and it doesn't work, they refuse to take it back since it's "used"..

First they recommend I buy a Canister filter for my Reef tank, and when I take it back (after realizing it's not) I had to convince them to give me store credit.. Then they recommended a Prizim Skimmer which I THEN find out that it's not too good either.. I should have gotten a AquaC Remora..

So any suggestions?

thier should be a petsplus near you. the two petsplus i know of have a nice selection of fish. i cant speek for who going to be thier to give advice but my experances thier have been good.

There may be one reasonably close where local members can give you pointers on where to shop locally. They might even offer discounts for local club members.

It's about an hour away, but thehiddenreef.com is in Levittown PA and is probably one of the biggest/cheapest/bestest fish store on the east coast...at least that i know of.

Also, Big Als is around Bluebell somewhere...they're supposed to have a several thousand gallon shark tank.

Have you checked out Something Fishy in Northampton? I've never been there but I've heard it's nice.
