hahaha. i just put down my first signature. what do you think?

you can tell your a kid:)

"Life is what you make of it." Parents tell their kids that often, but even though the parents send their kids to good schools and are tough about their grades and try their hardest to lead their kids to a promising future, many kids end up ruining their lives with drugs anyways, so why not just let them make life a living hell for themselves right at the very beginning?

Because we, as parents, care. It's something you won't ever understand unless you have kids of your own.

oh, and yeah. it shows your age. :)

lolz. how is it? :headbang2:

I agree with the above, if everyone took that slack attitude towards thier children, the world would become a worst place..We love our children and will naturally do all possible to ensure they DO have the best upbringing we can possible provide. Its a simple thing for a parent to provide, but can have dramatic effects later on in life when the child grows up and steps out into the real world to fend for themselves and all that has been tought them will enable them to make that step, and hopefully make it a successfull one..

And, to add, what has been taught, will make them even more successful than their parents.

Noob13, my opinion, which you asked for, I don't like it and consider it a ridiculous point of view.

This is very true. I agree.

I do also believe that children should not be able to choose what they want to do 100% of the time, because what they may choose, may hurt them, without them knowing. That's why parents may already gone thru a similar experience and are trying to warn them or keep them away from that, so they don't go thru the same pain as they did.

Spread love, not war! =)

You've all forgotten what it's like to be a kid :silly:

Actually, though, I agree with most of the above comments, though parents may be overprotective at times, they do everything in our best interests.
