Pretty good case. I wanted to see more from him before commenting on what he had said. But either way he has to answer to it now.

I wanted to see if he just continued or tried to make excuses or what not without being prodded. It was almost a big of an admittance as Ogres subtle post. I know he was mafia but everyone just started voting him and no one discussed anyone else. I didn't want that to happen here.




Now why would an innocent want someone to admit to being Santa? Why would you want any power role to show themselves this early?



Its been pointed out but Nightfall is Thursday evening.


As for the Blitzen thing. I was thinking more about it today at work. There is no possible way to know who they are. The only thing that might work in our favor is an accidental lynch of them or hope the elves hit him accidentally.

I don't think we can find them unless they just slip up. If they were to slip up I'd be more then willing to lynch them.

I just don't see it as an innocent role except for numbers at this point. His actions in either direction kill one of ours or turns him evil. Either the evils gain one or we break even. If we lynch him at least they don't gain a player.

Now if the coal turned an evil to innocent or killed an innocent then I'd say we keep him as in that scenario we could gain a player.

The HN quote has bothered me also, wasn't sure what to think of it, except it had a "creepy" feel to it!

Yeah, I just don't see the "Blitzen" as a innocent role either...I mean he/she really if he kills innocents, how can that be a good thing???

I have to say, the whole HN thing hit a chord on me as well but I am having a struggle with it myself wondering about him posting all that. I can't see anyone, especially HN being so clearly obvious.

I have a thought on HN but I want to see what he says instead of giving him a reason to use.

If he doesn't give the answer I'm looking for then my vote will probably end up on him.

I don't know what to make of Niko, I have till tomorrow to watch him and don't want to make any rash votes just yet.

If I feel the need to pull someone from hiding I will place a vote though just for responses.

The 1st night fall is hard enough without throwing votes out just to throw them or start trains on people and others skate by without being looked into.

Niko and Blue are both new to the game and they already have a classic rivalry. Man I love this game. It really brings out the best in people. What suprises me here is this is a battle Niko really thinks he can win. I've got two words you should learn as quickly as possible Niko:

meantime, I note that there is in fact another real world day between now and night - I have my time zones wrong.

Although I do agree with Coler that Blitzen's description doesn't sound like an innocent's. He either kills an innocent or turns himself evil, so the role isn't really like that of the hunter (vigilante).

I really dont think the Blitzen should be looked upon as innocent..whatever happens with this person, they are going to end up being evil...My take is that the Blitzen is going to be spending this early time planning who to deliver the coal too to make a kill, i dont see that as an innocent person really..

He is listed as an innocent on the rules. But do we really want to keep around someone thats either going to kill one of us or switch sides giving numbers to the evil elves?

I agree..i think all we can do is wait, and look for changes in people getting towards the end of night 2, or 3...

Here are my thoughts....

After day 3, we will know Blitzen's status (townie or scum) for sure:

- If a townie turns up dead from the Blitzen bomb, Blitzen remains an innocent.
- If no dead townie from the Blitzen bomb, Blitzen has gone to the dark side.

Either way, we'll know their status. A pre-emptive strike really doesn't make sense IMO, as we'll be looking for a townie at this point.... Makes more sense to look for scum, and let Blitzen worry about Blitzen for the time being.

I would disagree. The idea was proposed that we lynch an innocent early, in hopes of preventing them from becoming scum down the road...some may consider that anti-town. IMO that merits discussion, especially on Day 1 when there's not much else to go on at this point.

So, are you suggesting just lynching an innocent just to wittle away at the numbers with a hope you come up trumps and get an elf or Blitzen?? Very very anti-town IMO..

well hello all! quite a few discussions going on so lets get started:

on blitzen...my opinion is just see what happens night 2/3. No need to go planning out what we are going to do as I personally find it a distraction

Niko seems most scummy to me at this point as DD did a good job of noticing nikos mistakes

hn is acting odd but nothing in particular would merit a vote on him from me at this point

bethkira is already not making any sense to me...
