BW, is really not hard at all, IMO.
 
neither is salt, but it is way more time, money, brains cells, ..consuming, lol

Only hard thing about saltwater reef is the price...
 
I found that my SW tank took way more research than my fw/bw tanks did to set up, and I'm still trying to get everything dialed in. Once I get all the params to where they need to be I don't think it will be any harder than any of my other tanks, but I would say from a first-timer perspective. sw/reef is a lot more time consuming up front than the other two. Not necessarily hard persay, as none of it (except the hit on my disposable income anyway) is particularly difficult, just requires more attention and work.
