nice pics! are u sure u have male/female kribs? they both look female to me ( i'm prob wrong) i know i have 2 girls and one has a HUGE pink tummy and the other one doesn't.

There is a stargate in my aquarium.
My guess is, since she's colored up, she's displaying "courting" behavior toward him to turn his aggression into "interest." It may be that what he's doing, too, is the start of Krib courting behavior. I suspect you're going to be godmother to a bunch of little Kribs in a few weeks. :22_yikes:

Yes, im sure they're female/male haha. Look at the 3rd, 4th, and 5th pics. Those are the male Krib. Notice how hes not as colorful in the tummy, and his dorsal fin is really quite long and comes to a point whereas the females doesn't. Also, her tail is more round and his is more...spade shaped i guess you could say?? The pictures don't show it too well but I can notice it when i look at them. I suspected it was some kind of courting or "happy dance" as mentioned earlier haha except that she is showing more interest in him then he is to her. Thanks a lot everyone!
.....i've always been rubish at sexing my fish....i spent half an hour venting my severum i thought he was male and showed some 1 the pic and its a female grrrr ... looking at a fish anus for nothing! hehe

the picture didn't show up on my computer, but all i have to tell you is to look at the dorsal fin. The males is much more long and comes to a point. Also, the males tale is more "spade" shaped whereas the females is more round. I believe that the females also get like a lot more colorful then the males, especially if they're trying to attract a mate. Thanks for the comments!
