Compare it this way. During the holidays, PetCo and PetSmart offer 55 gallon glass tanks, no stand, with hooods, heater, and filter for $150. Granted the filter is not the greatest.

well i figured it the petco way, and plus the gravel, giant oscar, turtle, filter, etc it seemed like a pretty sweet deal. i'm going to go pick it up either this weekend or next.
