Xenia: Hanging Bag Method

Came across this interesting way to propogate xenia for selling.

I really liked that way of propgating the xenia. It seems it would be hassle-free to be able to create frag tags with the mesh and then glue where you wanted.

Have you tried it yet? My pink pom-pom seems to grow like a weed and is always splitting.

I hadn't seen that way of doing it before. I'm going to have to give that a try once we get some Xenia back in our tank.

No only got my xenia a few days ago. But I'll try it if I decide to propogate it.

My LFS gives me $5/xenia stalk credit w/o mounting & even more if it is. Almost not even worth bothering mounting. I have it growng across the back glass--sooooo easy to just scrape off. I constantly have credit over there.

I have used panty hose before, or a fine mesh bag like that, it is painfully easy.

The whole operation from start to finish takes all of about 15 minutes.
