He's miserable but its to be expected.. Just trying to keep liquids in him right now.. But its going around his school like mad.. The only wierd thing is that he seemed fine this morning.. But he got to school and lost his breakfast on his desk.. He's running a temp now (not to high thank God) and I've called the ask a nurse line and am going by their recommendations for the time being.

Just a quick observation...

DD and Blue seem to have decided Niko is worth considerable effort. Could those two be aligned? Could all three be aligned and have cooked this whole thing up between them as a disinformation campaign?

You suspect me for not posting much, jm? I've been at work all day, darlin'. And thank you for the compliment. These folks don't know me IRL like you, so you have something of an advantage there. However, right now I'm just getting my toes wet in this game. I suspect by the end you'll be telling me, "Shut up already". I have found though, that when one is talking, one is not listening, nor learning.

At this point it's difficult for me to gauge whether a player is being abnormally quiet in the game. I've found though, that often it's what's not said that's more telling than what is said.

The back and forth between DD, Blue, Niko, LG and plant may be misdirection or just petty arguing. JL66's narrative may be the same. So far I've noticed DCjr, malbri and beth being very quiet. This interplay is fascinating...

I point this out simply because at this point he seems to have a good grasp of the game.. He's made a couple of comments but are those only enough for us to think he is an innocent??? I'm not sure but my radar is going off with this guy.

DD, you coming out and saying that you had one of the investigations, then naming LG as innocent as a result, is either subterfuge or one of the most disingenuous statements I've ever seen. If you're innocent, then you've sacrificed LG to a hit. If you're mafia, you've let the rest of the mafia know, and LG gets hit.

JM, the only way you could be so sure that DD is mafia would be from an investigation of your own. Did you have an investigation, and did you find DD to be mafia?

Mark seems like an intelligent guy but the flaw in his logic here is that DD may have been naming LG as an innocent in order to keep us from thinking she is mafia.

I have noticed her game is off of the norm. While she says people thinks that she is normally all over the place, she really is normally all over the place. In this game she is completely different. She seems to be confident, assured and not all over the place. While I don't disagree that a persons game play improves with time I don't think it improves over night.

Just got back from taking my building exam and caught up with the posts.

I see on pg. 47 that andi has four votes for no apparent reason that I can see. I believe 3 of those votes are from communicating mafia. That's just my "gut feeling".

I think jm is on the level and blue is pointing fingers everywhere she can. I think her vote against plant was retaliatory for the words they've been having between them lately.

Beth, swayde, Niko, jl66, andi? Dunno yet. DC claims to be busy with work, plant is getting into it with some good arguements, but those could be misdirection. So far the one that stands out the most is blue, so I vote to lynch Blue.

Not hiding, brains2, just not as smart as these other folks so it takes me longer to figure things out. That combined with a day job that doesn't allow me access to AC means I post less.

So as an explanation, for those who have not played with me before...I can only post between the hours of 9:30pm (if I don't go drinking and leave a drunken to semi-drunken post) to the hours of about 11:45 am. Between those hours I am teaching ballroom dance and have no access to a computer. Sometimes I will leave gut instinct lynchings because I have no other choice than to have a UD and I'd rather get lynched than do that. (See the game where cooldude and I were the only survivors.) Right now I'm kinda suspicious of the Niko-DD-JM-Blue fight going on....I will watch more and place a Vegas style wager, in the form of a lynching in the morning, but for now I hear a strong urging from my pillow to come lay down.

Ok, I have to make a decision before work with only a bit to go on. I've been a bit concerned with JM's aggressive vocalizations this game. To me it almost seems a bit too calculated. I know it's a first night vote so there's just odd suspicion to go on, but this is how I'm casting my lot.

Ok this vote has me concerned. I'm sorry but DD being mafia was just obvious and is why I included the Judges response below.. I think that she was right on the target with this one.

Whoa guys, sorry there, went on a snap decision during a feud and thought judge seemed more different in play style than jmax. Had to leave for work right after the post and had no idea what was waiting to break out just minutes later....I gotta relook at things since I totally misread this situation...I think more than one person besides DD was in on the big arguement that was going on when I voted and it should be looked into...I also agree that "internet problems" are a weak excuse....Anyone who has played with me knows I have to make my decisions early for weal or woe and this one I made a mistake on...I'll watch for something good to work with in the morning but I must sleep now, night all...

Aren't the Judge and Jmax the same person??? And I'm sorry but it was painfully obvious that DD was mafia.. DC is to experienced of a player to make this kind of mistake.

I was off the internet personally once that stuff started up, but my computer stays logged in all the time, anyone who knows me and is on AOL saw that I logged out as I usually do before going to work.



My hunch was that she used a classic excuse like, the internet isn't working...And I know someone is going to jump down my throat because I'm sitting here saying "I was at work" but frankly you guys have seen me play before and know that this is how I have to operate due to time constraints....I'll comb through a bunch of posts tomorrow and work out something better, but for now I gotta get ready to go dance.

Well, going over the thread, most pple have Andi, Beth, and DC on their lists. Mal could easily be Mafia as well. I think these are some pple the communicating Mafia should be looking at for their hit.

I'm going to go ahead and vote. I think with so many pple agreeing she looks suspicious, Andi is a pretty solid vote.

I vote to lynch Andi.

My guess is that Plantling is trying desperately to follow the herd and blend in with her vote on Andi, and it sure as heck looks like she's trying to send a message to her teammates to let them know which side she's on and who to hit...why oh why, would a townie ever tell the mafia who to hit?

And as for me voting for Andi twice in the say time Night/Day cycle, as I mentioned I could not log into the site one night and the following day I'd just woken up and had a lot to do and did not get a chance to read all the posts and get caught up. I did not remember if I'd voted or not and decided to stick with Andi because I've been suspicious for her for awhile, didn't see anything to make me think she's a townie and still believe she's mafia, as well as Plantling now. We can't afford to lose anymore townies to UD =/ I do feel stronger about Plantling based on that above post I quoted.

Ok I can accept that statment.. Things happen to a certain extent.

While I agree that she may be following the heard, I honestly believe we have a mafia in Andi and Beth. With Andi Its just to convenient all of her excuses, her voting pattern etc. With Beth she slipped up with her posted list and voting. While she tried to back track and say it wasn't an ordered list you know as well as I if someone is on your list you'll vote the majority and make your case for one of the others the following night. Unless you have some inside information (which we don't have this game) to try and sway people your direction. While its your vote I just ask you to really think about it.. If you feel Plant is mafia and make more of a case than just a slip up I'm on board with that vote.

Additional Note.. I don't think there is a way to be for certain if someone is a communicating mafia or not. Other than the non-communicating mafia are on their own and left to their own devices which in the end will make them easier to spot. But honestly to me a mafia is a mafia I don't care which one they are as long as we get one.

Congrats Swayde! Rifling through my 79 posts you were able to find one word that I made an error on. If you'd been following along my conversation w/Brains you would have understood I wanted the communicating INNOCENTS to hit one of these pple tonight as that's when they get their hit, not the Mafia. Althought the communicating MAFIA are more than welcome to hit one of them as well tomorrow night but I bet you my dog that they won't. :grinno: And as you'll notice if you paid attention to my other posts, I have these pple on my list of MAFIA suspects and stated I was willing to vote for any of them. I honestly don't know. I just know you are looking very mafia-ish. I wish for the town's sake I had more free time, but I am quite thankful that I have been busy IRL, especially with my family. It sure beats being bored and spending time with my family, bonding and laughing and having a good time, is totally worth it for me. I regret that I signed up for this game, because I do not have the time I thought I would to dedicate to it, but it's too late now and so I'm doing the best I can.
