Mee-Mee's Pastry and Poutine - under new ownership!
It seems that Potatoman John has re-opened a once favorite spot. It was opened in honor of Mee-mee, a favorite daughter of ACville, who lost her battle with cheap vodka and Charlie, an odd Canadian that was gunned down by the mafia.
John even cleaned up the back room for the many drunks that mee-mee used to help. Now judgemax will have a better place to sleep instead of his back yard.

"Are you open yet? Anyone here?", shes says to a closed door.

"Julz, I am glad to see you... you are looking, um, better.", John says nervously
"I thought mee-mee was back", she replies coldly.
"It's been a long time...", he pauses. There is a odd silence in the pastery shop, kinda like when someone sees poutine for the first time.
"You know," he begins, breaking the silence, "you were once the best manager I ever knew, and the potato ideas you came up with back then are still the best. Your skin on french fries are still a top seller and there would be no such thing as seasoned fries if it was not for you. We still use your reciepe and it is still a secret."
"Life was great", he continues "until you started drinking at work. What could we do? We all thought it was more about your seedy friends more than you, but once you started hanging out with the criminal element and drinking at work, We, or really, I had no choice. I never meant there to be any hard feelings and I am glad you are not drinking these days. I hope you stay that way and have found new friends."
"I have chang-", she starts to say, but is inturpted.
"Actions speak louder than words.", he says in a kind but stern matter.
"Look, the copyright on the seasoned fries receipt is in your name, we filed it after you left, mostly because we did not want you to sell it for booze. You might not know it, but Larson Potato Company has a nice bit of money for you. I just hope that you do not drink yourself to death, but you look better than you have in years. Go to the office, my nephew is now operating the plant, besides Potato for the People day, I am focusing my time at the shop. I will be damned if Starbucks is going to chase me out. You know the mafia run Starbucks?"
After those words come out, John turns white. He should know better about talking about the Starbucks Mafia connection. It is that type of talk that will have someone sleeping with the fishes. He looks around, his talk with judgemax sure has caused some attention. He goes to the back room with out saying a word.
Ok so John starts kicking the bushes.. Something we normally see out of him and is a sign that he might be a townie.
I think atnixon is up to something. I am not sure what was up with the post with the slip and what was even meant by it. It is a strange slip and I really do not know what was even meant by it.
I do see some votes going on atnixon, and I really can't see anyone much better to vote for, but I am always a little leary of day one trains, but someone has to go. It might as well be the most guilty acting.
I do not like the whole defintion thing and the evading questions, but this is nothing new.
There was another post that seemed to defend atnixon, before I jump on atnixon, I want to find that thread, it might not even be atnixon, but there is a post that has me concerned.
I get a feeling of Lady G defending atnixon from these posts..

I can see this as an action to get results. Place a vote and see what happens. With the way LadyG reacts some times this can be her tell so he's kicking to see if the dog barks, so to speak.
For the record, atnixon's joke (banter) went over my head.
As far as this talk of trains or anything of the like, only 3 people have voted and I think it is for 3 different people.
Lady G seems to be a good enough suspect.
I would also add Plantling as a good suspect. Why is she telling people to vote when she has not voted herself. Waiting for a train to jump on?

Here he points out some behavior that he finds suspicious. Again something John normally does. He calls people to the carpet.
I am more concerned with the top 5 than the bottom 5.
This one gets me as its only day 2.. He is talking about the top 5 posters at the time being possible mafia. But doesn't list why he is concerned about the top 5. He did talk about a couple of them in previous posts but there are more than just LadyG and Niko in those top 5. However this goes to show you that many of the top posters in games have a tendency to be innocent because they are pounding the pavement. In that post Judge and Blue were in the top 5.. But to counter so was DD.. But she always posts a lot.. With her you have to look at the quality of the post.

I knew it was three votes for three different people. I was not guessing or skimming. I used the words "I think" to get my point accross.
That is the big slip that makes me mafia? That and I seem to be playing weird? Then somehow I get accused of skimming.

Start Day 3
John stands behind the counter and Mee-Mee's pastry and Poutine. He is amazed how well the town folks like Poutine and thinks that somewhere Charlie is smiling on them.
He looks around his store and sees lots of smiling faces. He always loved going to Mee-mees and is proud he can open the doors again. Everyone seems excited also.
John then notices something, there are no men in his shop. Not a man to be found.
"Where have all the guys gone?", he murmurs to his poutine, "I guess the ones that the mafia didn't kill, the women of ACville scared off."
Maybe a Big Screen TV will get the guys in.
What is odd about this whole thing of DD coming out, there seemed to be a good amount of people throwing my name out there. Until DD came out as the innocent with the investigation, I do not think there was much more than a few people interested. The talk of my playing odd and being a wierdo was going to get my lynched. I find it strange that DD did not focus attention from herself.

I agree it does look like he followed on this vote.. But I also know Johns hours and he does post when he can.. He normally is a quiet player and really used to only get on late at night.

I will not be living on this thread. I will be actively voting and posting. I will not be a high poster, I also will not defend that I have stuff to do besides be on this thread or website even. It was day one for crying out loud.
I would say the best suspects are DC or Andi at this point. I am leaning towards Andi.

I really trying to figure out what to post. At this point I see nothing to add.
I have no way to defend me playing odd, off or wierd. I do not see me playing any different than any other time.
Those that have played with me before should know of my Day One history of voting for the first role player or bouncing all around. They should also know that most of the time I am thought of as guilty and most often I am a top suspect.
I have never in a game claimed to be innocent. There was one game where I fought for my life and said if people voted for me that the game would be over, and it was for me, I was mafia that game. I try my best to play the same, if I am mafia or not.
I do not think I have done anything that would say I am mafia, but am honored that I have been noticed. I think the voters for judgemax and the late joiners onto dangerdoll should be the top suspects. I also think the people that vote late in the day should be watched.
I help when I can help. I do not think I have played any different and am very leary of those that say I am. Maybe I should stop role playing.

I doubt that the communicating mafia would all be voting for the same person early in the day and on Day Two. My guess is that half of the four could be mafia, but I doubt if even two of the communicating mafia are on the same person.
Again John is an experienced player and I agree with this statement. In fact I would go even further stating that I don't think the communicating mafia would all be on one person at this point in the game. Their only ally is to try to manipulate people and hide in the shadows. Any other play puts them under scrutiny and possible mess ups in what they are posting.
I think it is odd that atnixon would vote for me making a three way tie, then the other players are also on his list.
So instead of making a vote that changes something, he just adds to the confusion. He could have given andi or blue their 4th vote, but instead puts three players in a three way tie.
I hope that what ever happens this night, that atnixon will be looked into.
As far as brains2 is concerened. I guess that rbishop felt that this group was lame. Maybe they can spice it up, but when it comes to it, most of the more vocal and challenaging players are not in this game. I do not think that makes this game lame nor do I think we needed a mystery player that is special.
I also think it is DAY TWO, there was not hit last night, and one mafia has been lynched. I really do not see a whole lot to talk about.
I think that atleast one communicating mafia has made a big deal about me playing different, which for a fact is totally a false statement. I also think that atleast two of the people voting for me are mafia.
This is around the point that I entered the game and he was right.. Niko making a three way horse race could be looked at as conspicuous unless he was trying to see what was hiding in the bushes. Not everyone had voted at that point and my guess is that there was mafia still hiding out there.

I kinda had a strange thought about the whole DD thing. It was real real obivious that DD was mafia. Also judgemax really put her neck out there to get her lynched.
What if DD's death was part of the mafia's plan. What if she was a non-communicating mafia and the communicating mafia felt they could lose DD and then make themselves look good.
Now this would not make sense in most games, but in 50/50 they could afford to lose one, if that meant not losing any others and creating some sort of leadership.
So, do I 100% trust judgemax? No.

The Bala gave one innocent and one mafia the power to investigate. It is possible that judgemax received the investigation that was given to a mafia member and it came up dangerdoll as mafia.
How bad does someone want to stick there neck out there? In this game, claiming you are innocent gets one lynched. I am not sure, I just know not to 100% trust anything.

Again I can see this as I had posted about how fishy Andi seemed. So to me it makes sense.
They hit judgemax, because she was a known innocent. It would have been a risk to hit someone else. They could have hit one of the non-communitcating mafia.
I am not sure if I would have hit her, mostly because if she was not hit, there would have been lots of explaining to do on her part as why she was not hit.
My guess is that they thought about it and it was not worth the risk of hitting one of their own.
Besides the towns vote to lynch, the communicating innocents have a hit.

First off, Blue was not so on judgemax. She did not even vote for judgemax. She was just pointing out that we could not 100% trust judgemax being innocent just because of the dangerdoll lynch. Lady G had posted this before and anyone who has played before knows that this could have been an option and it was something good to talk about.
Judgemax's vote on Blue was suspicous and I think she was a little maniplated by making the post. People were making a bigger deal out of her saying it than others.
I think the town needs to get 2 solid names to put up and go from there. The mafia can control the votes at this stage, so if we stop them from spreading everyone out then we have a better chance of seeing where they line up.
