How do YOU package juvi shrimp for mailing?

  1. Fill a bag with tank water
  2. add moss or some sort of plant
  3. tie the bag with a little air and double bag it
  4. add popcorn to a box
  5. add enough bubblewrap or styrofoam to keep it still while being shipped
  6. add a heat pack
  7. add the shrimp
  8. cover with more popcorn
  9. add the address
  10. pay for shipping
  11. drop it off :D

Hee hee- might want to add the shrimp before tying the bag.... :grinno:

(joking...I knew what you meant...struck me as funny....)

I also wouldn't put the heat pad anywhere near the shrimp. The pads get up to 100 degrees, instead of frozen shrimp you'll be sending poached shrimp.

Try to keep the pad as far away from the shrimp as possible. Most people use styrofoam squares to strengthen the box and add insulation. Then they attach the heat pad to the outside of the square. Yopu only need the box to be warm to keep the shrimp warm.
