Been a while since I've shown this tank. I thinned about twenty pounds of sag out of it a couple months ago and moved some plants around. My biggest c. Wendtii is just getting over the sulks from being moved.

This is Dowich, my female wild blue. Didn't know he was a she until she spawned.

Awesome, what size discus and what size tank?

The discus are about three years old. I raised them from juvies. They're about 7" long and the tank is a 125 gal. I have a stunted discus in this tank that I rescued from one of my customers a couple years ago but he's spooky and refuses to pose for pics. Thanks for the kind words, y'all.

Nice tank and fish Mark! Is that moss or algae growing on your driftwood?

the tank is beautiful, and I have never really noticed how awesome discus really were until your pics. I think I may need another tank now.:grinyes:

LOL
It's actually algae. A few months back I moved the tank into my new house. When I did, I thinned a whole lot of java fern off the driftwood. I also thinned out my anubius nana and a whole lot of sag. This threw my light/co2/fert balance off some and I got a little bba on my anulbius barteri and frasieri. I also got this little patch of green algae on the driftwood, which has spread to what you see now. I haven't taken steps to irradicate it because I kinda like the natural look of it. If it becomes a problem later I can always get rid of it, but for now I'm leaving it there.

Thanks for the compliments, y'all.

That's the same algae I have growing on my malaysian driftwood! Is it clado?? I also like mine, looks like moss and is pretty! I've only got one clump of it growing at the top of the wood which is right under the water surface and lights. I was wondering if it was bad to keep it for fear that it would spread everywhere else, but it's not. Your's doesn't spread anywhere else either?
