For someone who was so psyched to play in the sign up thread, mee-mee has been noticeably quiet. Also, still no word from JPap...maybe something going on in Minnesota? Paul Bunyan Axe Throwing Championship weekend?

I just do not think he really wanted to play....which is equivalent to a KOTD repetitive UD.....

I am most concerned about the lack or play by Judge and mee-mee, completely out pf character, whether evil or innocent....

Jpap...wouldn't surprise me if he has been viewing the thread and not responding, as he often does in many games....but that isn't very helpful, is it Jpap..?

While Lchap has been very vocal with his postings, could he be the spokesperson for the communicating pirates....?

I am leerey of Beth...seems to be more helpful...yet....

No need for a definitive list until every one posts a list of suspects, AND REASONS, but some of our players are still in the "post once and awhile mode".

We seem to have developed a group of players who like to play, but also ride the coat tails of other's thoughts.

Charlie, sure wish you had played this round....Maybe DD could find time to post more....

I have to start out with, I was very taken back that MG was taken out of the game for that. A pm saying Hi to ppl really isn't a reason IMO to loose a player, especially a newb..I mean come on guys are we really THAT way?? So are we NEVER suppose to pm anyone at all for any reason while playing??? If this is the case there have been several games I should of been removed including this one. I have PMed ppl, not about the game just odd and end things while playing, really didn't know that was a violation of the game and the rules really DO NOT say that.

Maybe I am reading it incorrectly but it says to me...no PMing ABOUT THE GAME, no setting up alliances or discussing ISSUES IN THIS GAME. It does NOT say NO PMing ANYONE FOR ANY REASON.

Sorry guy's but personally I think that was a very bad call, and a very misfortunate way to treat someone we pretty much begged to play, and those that were on him sooooooo badly to get him kicked out of the game for saying a simple hi to ppl are looking really bad in my eyes right now.
No he wasn't adding alot of thoughts to the game, mainly one liners, which I quite honestly enjoyed, I got a kick out of them and thought they added a little character to the game myself.

Really I have to admit since someone was kicked out of the game for PMing none game related topics to someone, I have and I have in this game...I pmed someone and told them good night, I pmed someone and told them Hi, so maybe I need to UD also??? Actually until I know I think I will avoid posting until I find out if I am going to be kicked out of the game myself.

Sorry guy's this just IMO was uncalled for and a very horrible way to treat someone who decided to give the game a try, and if we are going to kick out newbs for something like that I don't see how I can stay in the game myself, a I too have PMed ppl, and I know several other ppl have also, in this game and others, because I have received some myself...no NEVER about the game, just life things in general, or silly things...but I have done it and so have others.

I can honestly see the UD decision going both ways. He didn't actually do anything game-related outside the game...but the PMs he did send were ONLY to those playing...if they included people outside the game, or onesies and twosies talking about other things (classified, asking the clown expert a question about clowns, etc) they'd have been fine...

Mg put Clown in a bad place, and Clown made a decision. I may not LIKE the decision, especially knowing what I know now, but at least it's a reasoned one.

If you feel that you cannot continue that is your choice LadyG. I wish you wouldn't or anyone else that feels the same.. But on relfection when the situation happened I stated I had no clue what his intentions were. He was called out in the thread by several people requesting as to what his intentions were. He didn't answer. He had ample time to do so. Had he PM'd me saying "I have a theory and I'm trying xyz" I probably would have ruled differently. Had there been a more definative message I may have ruled differently. I at this point can only post suppositions as to what he was attempting to do.. I personally don't wish MGamer or any other player in this game ill will or harbor any grudges or anything else.. But honestly I made what I thought was the best decision and I can tell you it wasn't an easy decision.

I never meant to come just at you with wondering why you are questioning my whereabouts but I do however, find it interesting that you say you remember about some sort of ehaim drama but not about the party when they were mentioned at the same post.... posts 231 as well as 455.

No problem on the freaking out part, misinterpretation perhaps but it just seemed out of place at the time Not so much so that it has me convinced you're a pirate. I wasn't intending on questioning who Lup was PMing, I was unnerved that Lup was PMing in the first place. To who? I didn't make any big deal about that or didn't intend to. My primary note was focused on that he wasd PMing in the first place. Grins... why do I have the suspicion you are a bit on edge and paranoid? Need to feed the parrot?

You mentioned my name in post 260 and I found it odd. Especially when I was the one that called Lupin out on PMing to begin with. As for being paranoid, I'd not consider me questioning why you'd tie my name to something you admit was an unnerving occurance as paranoid. I'd call it prudent when trying to uncover suspected pirates and as smart as you seem to be I'm guessing you'd call it the same if you'd think about it.

What I find the most disturbing is that he STILL hasn't voiced his reasons for PMing almost EVERY player in this Mafia game, and only those people playing Mafia 20...

Why'd you do it Mg...you're the one that put Clown in the tough spot. Why are we only asking Clown to defend himself, and not Mg?

As of this point MG cannot post in the thread. He has been removed from play and further interaction on his part would be in violations of rules and would be a no-no..

As of this point I am hoping we can all just put this behind us and try and enjoy the game.

Clown, I do not want to quit the game...I am just saying if we are UDing ppl who have pm others playing, then I don't see how I can be excluded. No, I have never sent out multiple PMs to each player, but I have pmed with ppl. I did not realize it was a violation, unless it had something to do with the game. I believe you were pressured to take the action you did. I realize everyone did question him (and for the record..I did get one too), and have no idea why he didn't at least come on an say I just wanted to say Hi or whatever..but he didn't, not responding to ppls post have not been reason to UD ppl either as far as I know. I agree also it was questionable as to why he did it, I just pretty much took it as...because he's MG and that's just his way of being silly. I just don't understand how it turned into such a big deal that we had to loose a player over it.

I just want it known, that I myself HAVE PMed ppl in the game, and other ppl have PMed me also...so are we all to die a UD for doing this...that is what I want to know, or is it just certain ppl, for certain reasons? If the pm has nothing to do with the game in itself? No, I don't want to UD, NO, I don't want to quit...but we UDed someone for something I myself have done, and so have MANY other players, in this game and past games.

I do believe you and other Mods of the game to be fair, but I can't help but believe you were pressured to do what you did, for the wrong reason IMO. I'm sure it was a difficult decision to make and a hard call on your behalf. I wish I would of been here when it was going on, so I could of voiced my opinion on the matter at the time it was going on. I do not think less of you as a Mod, and I do believe you did what you felt you had to.

This is two nights in a row that you've swooped in and posted an I agree to me questioning someone. I'm starting to feel as if I have a shadow here.

I'm sure he will post after he is caught up. It does take along time to read all of the posts. Well, I am going to go read again some posts that seemed funny sounding to me and I will share what I found tomorrow sometime. Have to hit the hay. Be safe for our town tonight peeps....

Her jumpiness when questioned, appeal to emotion, OMGUS vote are all scumtells. It's semi-rare on Day 1 to find someone committing one of those tells, let alone all of them. She's got to be a pirate.

Question for you and well everyone really. The OMGUS votes, I understand what they are but have they historically been placed by mafia in the past games you've played? Please don't tell me to go read the past 19 games, I'd like to get up from my computer before I'm 90. It seems more like an innocent move than a mafia move and although I'm leaning Beth as the strongest pirate this might change my mind or help push me towards voting for her.

I didn't agree with at first either. Still not certain I do, but I feel less ill about it after Clown explained that the decision had more to do with the lack of response when Mg was questioned on it.

I love Mg to pieces (in a big sister tormenting her annoying younger brother way), but he played this game like he chats. It made me laugh and knowing he was innocent now makes me wonder what the man was up to..lol. Just having fun I imagine. I am thinking he'll not take the UD too personally, at least I hope not. I'd like to see him play again even if it is torment us all with silly one liners again.

In my first quick read threw the posts while I was asleep...this one thing stuck out the most. Beth's also got like 4-5 votes now, no one else has more then 1. Looks like Beth's walking the plank, and the line bolded above looks like a tell.

I hadn't caught that before and frankly I agree it looks like a tell.
