Mafia #20 - Pirates of the Carribean the Play

I agree that he WOULD be a perfect choice as capt. if he was a pirate, the only thing stopping me from thinking that atm is his vote for jm last night.

I can understand that, but I think that they had Cooke's protection on her since they knew that Rb was innocent and that we were lucky that the guard took the shot.

Not at all. Just keep in mind that I was wrong about Beth, and went hard at her.

His middle of the road play is what makes him the perfect Captain. Think about it if you're innocent Jpap, if you aren't you have no need to.

Again, you are the one defending him the most. You've made multiple mistakes and I think you're flustered. The pirates should shut you up and send someone else to Mad's defense. Who will it be? Blue, DD?

I am defending no one HN, I'm not really flustered so much as not sure what I think at the moment really. The pirates very well may shut me up, next nightfall if I am not planked, then you will be saying the same thing you said about Beth...I went hard on her, and was WRONG

See, things are just not adding up for me that Mad is the pirate. Why would he be the 4th vote on JM, I'm pretty sure Blue is Pirate, Meems well now you are making me think about her AGAIN.

Because...why would the captain of voted for Rb knowing he was an innocent? Why risk youself like that before the 2nd nightfall? The captain would have done what Mad did :

For votes I have

Rb -7- Ice (655) LG(703) Mal(876) DD(882) Blue(905) Jpap(941) MM(989)

JM-5- Rb (786) HN(835) LC(858) Mad(883) Grins (975)

MM-1-JL(807)

LC-1- JM (839)

Mad did not vote for Rb a known innocent. Mad instead aligned himself with a known innocent (Rb). (And what a coinky dink, JM aligned herself with Beth the night prior.) Mad waited until 2 other people voted for JM before making the final decision to cast his vote there. The only other person to vote later than Mad was ME and we've already gone down that road before. So it wasn't me.

I don't believe it was HN because he wouldn't have risked another pirate so soon if he was the Captain. I don't believe LC would have either if on the pirate team and coached. So again that makes Mad the obvious Captain to me.

I am pretty sure it was out there Jmax was going to be the target.

too many variables for that...jm never took the lead in votes so would the pirates waste a proctection on jm, or would they play conservative just in case some swithced?

They didn't know, JL was going to get killed though Beth...from their point, ONE pirate was about to maybe be hit by the guard, or planked...they hadn't lost any other pirates at the time.

If you say so. Why should I worry about you at this point? You don't know who you're posting to sometimes and are blindly defending the person I think is the Captain. He can't even make an appearance? C'mon, Mad... you sent the wrong lackeys. You won't be planked, you're a pirate, but we need to get the Captain.

Grins, as a townie you should get your facts straight. 1) would mad, as the hypothetical capt. would rather place a vote on an innocent or risk one of his own? 2) three people (blue, myself, and meemee) had not voted when mad placed his, which is why I am struggling with the idea of him voting off his own when rb was a clear target for the town 3) mad never aligned himself with rb in fact he openly questioned his vote on jm while mainly going after Lg

If you werent the attempted hit last night I would seriously consider you as captain :grinyes:

I'm sorry..I just find it hard to believe a pirate would pile that late on such a close call of another pirate. Maybe be one of the first on, when there were only a couple votes, but not to make it really that much closer. IMO

Again?
