Acclimating Fish.

Ya it was rather dim when I did the acclimation so they were nice and calm. Then I left the tank lights off for the rest of the night and they did great. I could still see them because of the moonlight.

I agree that the drip acclimation is the best. I know that DR F&S sells an acclimation kit:

Seems worth it just to make is simple.

Yes, it adjusts the drip with a simple twist of the connector. Oh, by the way I rarely drip fish unless I'm busy at the time. If I'm near the tank I often just add water via the turkey baster every 5 minutes or so. My inverts always get dripped though.

Ya still cant beat the airline with a knot in it..its about as cheap and effective as it gets....

lol...all you have to do is tighten the knot to a drip per second, nothing scientific....

Sincerely though, it is really isn't much of a big deal for the original poster, either way is more than adequate for drip acclimation to work.

I have yet to get it adjusted correctly. I go the method grins goes.
