I have three Peppered Cories now and two of them stick together 90% of the time and the other one only spends about 30% of his (her?) time with the other two. is this normal?

Sometimes one of mine go solo and while the other two hang together. Sometimes they all stick together. I'm sure it's fine unless it's acting distressed or the others are picking on it, which I can't really imagine with corys.

I'm a big believer in the more of the same for social fish like corys. I'd get 2 or 3 more peppered so the 1 isn't left out by the "best buds", if your sig is right you have some room. More is more fun.

I have six of the "false" jullis and 5 stick together and one is a loner most of the time. With my albinos, seems that 4 stick together and the other 2 stick together.

I have peppers, albinos, spotted, false julli and they all school or they just roam the tank by themself. But they do love to lie by each other in the cave.

Schooling is a natural reaction to predation. If your fish feel safe, it is possible they will not school as well. It may also be that you need more Cories, like this. (Pulled from another thread I can't recall.)
