I have 3 male fancy guppies in a 5g tank. I have about 8-9 mollis in a 55g. Would these males mix OK with the mollies if I moved them to the 55g? I thought about opening my 5g for a nursey tank for my pregnant mollies. My females always look pregnant, but only once have I been able to get babies and it was only three of them at that. Will the guppies and mollies work ok in the 55g? and would cory in the 5g tank eat baby mollies? How many cory would be ok for the 5g? Thank you and sorry about so many questions at once.

Guppies and mollies should be fine together. What corydoras do you have? Some will eat the fry. Pygmy species..I don't think so. A 5g however is too small. I'd suggest placing them in the 55g.

Thanks for the reply. The one I have in the 5g now is the kind like the albinos, but it isn't albino. I guess he'll be transported to the 55g with the rest of the gang. What should I have as bottom feeders in the 5g if any at all? Ghost shrimp? Would Ghost shrimp try to eat any fry? It seems like they would try at least. Or should I just skip the bottom feeders and keep the bottom of the 5g vacuumed? Thanks again

I don't think ghost shrimps eat fry. Shrimps and snails (mystery snails would be your best bet) are fine for the 5g although vacuuming is better.:)
