yellow is a color morph on the red gene.. from what i've read it doesn't breed true, and some may be sterile. hopefully that is not the case with yours because he is way too beautiful not to breed...make sure you keep him in a larger tank than her and feed him extra or he won't be successful...i hope it doesn't take too much longer for them to get there...

as for a name, my sister calls my opaline gourami "blue", so how about yellow for you?
