Please slap me very hard

I've determined I need to be slapped really, really hard right about now. My job is drastically understaffed right now. We work for a 24/7 place and full staffing for us is about 50. Right now we have 36. That keeps us at barebones minimum for 3 shifts, but we're doing some training right now so we have about 24-25 actually working the 12 positions over 3 shifts that we're supposed to have.

Because of how my days off fall this week I ended up with a three day weekend (Sat of this week, Sun/Mon of next). They begged, pleaded, and cajoled and I gave in and am working Saturday and Monday so my 3 day weekend is down to only one day. (I can't resist the cajoling.) I need to be slapped really, really hard for my stupidity and for giving in to these people. Someone please slap me hard. Maybe I'll learn my lesson and it might help you vent some anger. :)

Yeah, but you get overtime. I wish they would have asked me to work on the 21st, tripletime baby!!!!! I work alot of 7 day weeks, and 12 hour days, but the HUGE paychecks make it worth it.
