Also I would assume that anything from an area with enough radiation to force it to be quarantined would not remove radiation from our water.

Yep, the game has officially started. A few votes being tossed around, HN and Coler trying to kick bushes, Ogre singing to himself and mumbling on about Charlie, JL mumbling about his stuffed cat and darn commies, and Ice and RB are having a back and forth discussion already.
Still a few to post yet. It will be interesting to see how things develop.

That's a lot of role play. It's kind of nice to read, but certainly hogs up a lot of free time for posting and searching for baddies.
The only thing that jumps out at me at the moment is Gracie's post about being afraid of Operatives...I have to agree with Ice's catch on that. It's very possible that in her newness and eagerness to roleplay she may have given us too much information and forgot that she's not supposed to give away the fact she's bad.
So until something better comes along, I vote to toss Gracecat into the zone.

You need to do some research into radiation and cotamination. Radiation is naturally occuring in most every thing and is all around us, the rocks, the soils, the gases in any atmosphere. Most physical contamination can be removed, other forms naturally decay away on their own. A good deal of the radiation is stopped by clothing. The heavy alpha particles can be a pain though, especially if deposited in blood producing areas and as they travel, they do major damage to cell structure.
You shouldn't ASSUME. It could get you a permanent visa to the Zone.
Three new players..three people we don't know how they play. It will be interesting.
