Cory hybrids?

I am planning on keeping a large school of corydoras, 20+. Originally I was just planning on the good ol' bronze, but have since fallen in love with the peppered too. I will not be planning on breeding, and any fry will probably be eaten by tank mates anyway, but what are the chances of them hybridising (when they have ample of their own species around)?

I really just prefer my animals 'pure'...
 
im no expert on breeding, but i think they are 2 different species, thus no crossbreeding.. i think it would be kinda cool though.. lol. sounds like a really cool idea! what size tank? i was going to do a smaller colony (12) but then i saw the pictus, and i ran out of room on the bottom! good luck

100 gallon. I love corys :D
 
I don't think I've ever heard nor being shown a photo of hybrid cories. I doubt it'll ever really happen compared to other fish.

I did some research many months ago.

Hybridization is possible among several species of corys.

As best I remember there are at least 3 identified DNA structures but other factors limit hybridization in corys.
