I love DIY projects, cant wait till i get my own house with tools! :headbang2:

Hey Kodiak - You said it man. I was a DIY moron until I was fortuante enough to have the space and the tools.

The only other thing I have found to be crucial is patience, which is likely the most difficult variable. Oh yeah, also a willingness to do things over, i.e. correct my mistakes. :wall:

Thanks Tom - I appreciate and certainly need the encouragement. As you know, I am sure, it is a lot of work doing all this yourself.

Keep us well informed!! I got my wife to ok 10,000 for a tank when we get around to build a house (unfortunately Michigan isn't a good state to try and find work, so it may be put on hold for a very long time:(, but hey it gives me more time to research and dream). Anyways good luck and keep up the good work, I'm excited to see how it turns out!!!

Wow! 10K that is great! I was only able to secure a 5K budget for this project when we began building our new hosue last year. Unfortunately, almost half of that (~1800) went to the display tank itself. Which is one reason why I am doing as much of this project DIY as possible.

Yeah, Rudy, but it's all worth it when it's over and you can sit back and...wait, I've never been able to do that! It never ends!

Keep up the good work, Bud!
