I wonder if it might be a fun thread for us to talk about funny snake oil type products. What are some of your favorite snake oils to mock?


Tonight I got a kick out of these detoxifying foot pads they're selling on late night commercials. One brand even claims "beware of cheap imitations!"

well gee I don't know what this thread is about...I do recall one morning my snake was all squeaky and whutnot and durned if this clever young feller in from the city didn't sell me some oil that got 'er goin right nicely in a jiffy *spittobaccywad*

If you actually buy one if these and think it will work you deserve to waste the money. If increasing mileage was really that simple the manufacturers would have done that decades ago.
