hey guys I was wondering if there were any teens on this site. My lfs is pissing me off b cuz they think I'm irresponsible, and they dont beleive I've been maintaining my two tanks for three years now. Dont worry I do regular water changes and I'm pretty knowledgable too.
are there any teen reefers here?

Of course not.. every teenager WANTS to be 21.. you can't be 21 and still be a teenager as well. :silly:

im17, but i;ve only got a FOWLR right now.... planning on getting corals once I actually get a job lol.
Since we all knew everything as teens and knew that everyone older than us had no clue, I'm curious to know why it is your LFS thinks you're irresponsible. What, specifically, has your LFS said you were irresponsible about?
Are we to assume these 2 tanks are yours and paid for by your work or are they paid for by someone else(parents)? What is in these 2 tanks and how successful have they been? You say, "teen reefer", that would imply coral. What coral do you have in your care?
Regular water changes alone, does not a responsible reef keeper make. You need to be qualified just a bit.
Are you using ro/di water and are the filters and membrane still able to produce 0 TDS water? Do you heat and circulate the water to be mixed. Do you let the new saltwater mix for roughly 24 hours before changing water? Do you try to closely match temp, SG, Ca and alk before changing water? Most importantly, do you really care more about the fish, inverts and coral than just their monetary replacement value?
