Mafia #28: The Play

A quiet night in ACville....what makes you folks think there is more than one Mafia...?

Well I gotta say that the Ice-capades is quite interesting to read first thing in the morning. You certainly are busy Ice. I don't agree with people that Ice looks scummy, in fact I see him as looking like an innocent who is trying to kick in as many doors as he possibly can and stir things up. Standard Ice aggression and it seems to be the same thing he did in the last game I participated in with him, where I was convinced he was a bad guy and helped lynch him only to see that he was actually a fellow a innocent.

HN jumping onto him so quickly is suspicious, but I seriously think he is too experienced and would know better than to jump so quickly and eagerly onto an innocent right away if he were mafia, so I am actually leaning him innocent as well.

CS, man you are still just as odd as I can remember lol. I guess it works for ya, makes it pretty difficult to get a solid read on you.

I do believe the mafia folks are laying low and letting innocents duke it out while they just try to blend in. It would be great to know how many mafia there actually are. We've got to figure in 3 people with roles too, which I tend to get mixed up with bad guy vibes. So if there are 4-5 mafia, like RB thinks, and 3 special roles, that ends up being about half the town. I can already feel the paranoia setting in.

And what happened to the role playing? That sci-fi game there was so much role playing, but there's like none in this game. It's certainly been exciting so far though at least. I want my eclairs Mee-Mee!!!

Anyhow, I am not getting a strong enough vibe off of anyone right now to cast a vote. I hope that there is a lot of participation today and some of the quieter folks put more out there to work with.

I had the same thought as DD, it definitely does seem like a family reunion of sorts. So many people I've had so much fun playing with in the past, all bundled up into 1 game. Just missing a few people, who will hopefully come back again =) It's going to make it tough though because a lot of you are really good at fooling me =/

Welcome to the game Swayde, that's a mighty big first post. Oh and the roleplaying will definetly be coming from me, after I go enjoy the first sunny weekend I've seen in a while.

One last thought, we have less than a third of day 1 under our belt and I'm already seeing a lot of "**so and so is definetly Mafia..." That just seems very off to me even for the aggressive players.

Who else wants to jump on the Ice and HN must be mafia train?

I was hoping to get people talking and so far so good but we need more input from others.

I'm not sure just yet if I'll be looking more at who thinks we're innocent or who thinks we're guilty or who thinks 1 is guilty and 1 is innocent but in either case it could tell us a lot about what team you are on in the long run.

wait a minute, I was talking of your conversations, no posts, no backhand thought of pointing out any threads of being serious at all but I do find it interesting how you are trying to weave my name in early on this, Ice. And to say I am backtracking on i t, well, that's a pretty silly thought or a clever try at trying to place marks early in the game. So far, it's looking like I am leaning more on you ice and hooked as being the innocent.

How can the conversation make me look evil unless the posts were taken as being serious in nature? The conversation are the posts.

Ice, the posts I thought made you evil were the posts that started to get serious.

You say that HN and I both look evil but your not sure which of us is? Why would you think we both look evil and then say but you're not sure which of us is and then post in the same thread that maybe we are distancing mafia?

Are you mafia and trying to position yourself so that if one of us is lynched you could say well he looked mafia and then proclaim the other as innocent? Or is Huggie Bear mafia with you so when I show innocent others will think we were just innocents fighting it out?

I don't actually think HN is mafia ATM. He jumped in real fast with an attack,I did leave myself wide open for one, but for right now I think he is innocent. I've been chiding him along to see what responses I'd get from him and others. My only bit of doubt is that he used joke posts to catapult the attacks.

But DD I think you might want to check your shoes before you walk into the house because I'm thinking you might have stepped in something and I'd hate for your house to start reeking like that post.


The only thing you did get right in that post is that yes I expect to be looked at closely and therefore I wanted to get people riled up quickly and see what comes of it. If I learned anything from these games,especially the past few, is that the bad guys are the ones laying low and letting us kill one another off. They post enough to stay visible and throw some wood on the fire but not enough to have their words thrown back at them or to end up double speaking.

no, not mafia, I just know you are good Ice and that you should be questioned because of your past games.

Now, I find it interesting though that both you AND Hooked go on to say that you each put yourselves out there to see who would jump... just observations.

OMG! Ice and HN, what the he** were you two into last night?...see, I seem to be seeing that exchange way different than alot of others. IMHO, those two, are guilty as sin. Think about it ladies and gentleman, they are both cocky( not meant to offend) , i can see them laughing their butts off in a messenger,saying to each other check this out, watch what i write.....

And Cory Lover is near the top of my list for now....he has been stating the obvious guilty all/ guilty none/ guilty one about teams...pretty in depth thoughts....for someone up late like Lady G normally does...soon he will be babbling and spouting RL issues...

And what of Charlie and DD..none of the normal sweetheart throb posting between the two of them....alas...the love must be lost.....
