I have four 4'x4' sheets of 2mil. thick mylar to sell. I am asking 9 dollars per sheet shipped; standard cheapo shipping to US residents from zip 28463. If you want it faster or live in Canada, PM me for a new price.

This mylar came from a hydroponics shop. It's thick enough to easily apply without wrinkles, and is mirrored on both sides.

Contact me if you want smaller sheets. I may have enough extra to spare, but that's not a promise.

I foresee no issues with shipping, but if there is a problem, refunds can be negotiated. I will probably ask that you ship back at your expense, and I will give a partial refund.

I prefer non-CC PayPal only.

Thanks for looking!

Hey that's a good idea. I have used mirrors before. I bet mylar would look nice as a background.
It has to be applied with tape or glue. There is no adhesive on the mylar.

Hmm, is it the semi-transparent mirrored material? (I'm thinking I've seen it before, but not sure...)

Yes, it's slightly transparent when you view through light.

lol thanks

What do you use it for in the tank? they make baloons from it right.

Its the best reflector u can use for ur light fixture. some people have 50 wats or more from using sprial PC but only about half or less makes it to the tank because of the restrike. With maylar more of it gets into the tank.

Once u get the right angles on making a reflector, then all it matters is the reflective surface.

BTW I may get some later but I need smaller quanities. Do u sell less of it?

Some balloons are made with mylar, but that is usually a thinner, lower quality mylar.

Yes indeed, mylar is a fantastic reflector, but I'd have to say the miro polished aluminum reflectors are better. They have nice shapes and last longer. But in defense of mylar, its surface probably reflects light just as well as quality polished aluminum reflectors, and it's a lot cheaper.

I can maybe sell a smaller sheet. PM me with the size you want. It will have to come from my personal stash. I'm not sure how much of that I can part with just yet.

I made 4 shipping boxes for the 4 sheets I'm offering. With the price I'm asking, I will only make a couple dollars and get a few feet of mylar for myself. I figure the free mylar and 2 or 3 dollars is worth my time spent cutting the sheets and making these freaking boxes.
